(Kanan pov)
"Ezra, what just happened there?" I ask after putting him down on the bed in the medbay. "I felt a surge of energy fill the room, then fade. But the residue is still there."
"I... I don't know," the boy replies. "I think... I think I like her."
"Ezra, Jedi can't date or anything. You know that, right?" I ask as I apply bacta to his blaster wound.
"But Kanan, the Jedi are gone. Maybe part of it was that they wouldn't have emotional attachment. And besides: Crystal is really nice."
"I know Ezra, but-" I start, but then see that Ezra isn't going to budge on his point of view. I sigh. "We'll worry about that when we get to it. How's your leg?"
"It's okay. The one time a buckethead gets a lucky shot!" Ezra exclaims. I laugh. "I know. But don't worry; it's a pretty minor wound. If we apply bacta for a couple of days it'll be fine. The bullet just grazed it."
A knock at the door. "Can I come in?" Crystal asks.
"Sure. I'll be back," I tell Ezra. I head to the kitchen to talk with Hera. I need her help to wrap my head around something.Ezra likes a girl?!
