Chapter 4

"Why won't you just leave me alone!?" Shan shouted at Alex furiously.

Alex just stood in front of Shan, five steps away from each other.

"Because I can't! I don't know why, but I can't! It's as if your the only thing I'm attracted so much on. A magnetic wave that if once had been in close contact with me, I can't seem to hold myself. But you, your the metal. You aren't attracted to anyone. Because you're the kind of metal only I am attached on." Alex shouted back with a frustrated look. His breath was shaky and he ran his hand through his hair.

Shan just looked at Alex without any pity or anything towards him at all.

"Why won't you just give me your direct answer!?" Alex added as Shan turned away from him.

"Didn't you say earlier that no matter what happens you will always follow me? It's no use on answering." Shan said with a cold tone as if she was bored or didn't care.

Alex paused.

"Just... please." Alex pleaded.

"Sir. Just please, leave me alone."

"Shan! You're really not making this easy for me! Every time, I tried and failed. You..! Your an obsession..." Alex said looking at Shan as if he was hypnotized by her own appearance.

"I didn't do anything, sir. It isn't my fault." I said and left my living room and headed towards my bedroom.

Alex tried to calm himself down but failed. Shan really had this... effect on him.

Alex was about to get himself out of Shan's hotel room when he quickly changed his mind and found this as an opportunity. An opportunity to be close to her, hugging her in his arms. He didn't even know why, he wanted to stop himself but couldn't even control his eagerness to hold her in his arms.

When Alex opened the door towards Shan's bedroom, he slowly climbed onto it and slowly made his way to her. Shan was sleeping peacefully. She looked at ease. He didn't want that to end. He wanted to be the reason as to why she is very happy and peaceful. He wanted her to feel safe in his arms. He wanted to be the reason of every inch of her life.

As Alex was still observing her sleeping face. Suddenly, Shan turned towards Alex.

Alex was surprised. Was she really that unaware of his presence when Shan is in her deep sleep?

Alex just looked at her with a satisfied smile. He thought he was just going to spend his night looking at her while Shan's back was facing him. He didn't expect Shan to even turn in his direction.

Slowly, Alex slipped his other arm under Shan's head and had Shan's face in full view.

This made Alex want to kiss her again after remembering what he did to her earlier. Her soft lips against his was something for him to craze for.
