The next day Shan opened her eyes slowly and flinched when she saw someone she wasn't expecting. She also noticed that his arms were around her waist while she was snuggled very closely on his chest.

Shan quickly pulled herself away but was pulled back. When she looked up she saw Alex was looking down at her with a smirk.

"Good morning~" he said with his grin still intact.

"Shut it. Tell me, what did I do yesterday?" Shan asked immediately as she pulled away forcing herself to get away from his strong grip and sitting up.

"Nothing." Alex said with a shrug and an amused smile. What the hell was that supposed to mean? Shan thought to herself as she looked at Alex who sat on the bed next to her.

"Your look doesn't look like I did nothing to me. Tell me the truth or I'll end it here. Permanently." Shan said as a warning which she knew would affect Alex since he looked at her startled, cause he really wasn't expecting her to say that.

"I promise you. You didn't do anything. All you did was just ask me to stay since you felt lonely. That's it. I swear." Alex said with his hands waving in front of his face.

"Hm...I guess that explains why you were-...wait. What did you say..?" Shan asked confused. Even she didn't know she was lonely. Does that explains the feeling of missing someone or something whenever she goes to this house?

"You said you wanted me to stay here. Because you felt lonely." Alex repeated as I told him to but this time he gave me a sly smirk. "I didn't know you felt lonely~" he continued and slowly crawled towards Shan.

Shan quickly stood up from sitting on the bed and dusted herself as if there were dirt on her outfit.

"You may leave now. Thank you for taking care of me when I was-" Shan was cut short when she felt a stinging pain in her skull. Probably a hangover. Shan thought as she sat back on the bed.

Alex then looked concerned and got up walking towards her front.

"Shan, are you okay?" he asked as he kneeled down in front of her and looked at her face.

"I'm fine. It's just a hangover, it'll pass. I'm just not used in alcohol. That's all." she answered while she was caressing her temple to at least ease the pain but it didn't help.

"If you want, which I think you don't want. I can stay here and help you." Alex asked even though he knew the answer.

"... alright." Shan answered which made Alex looked at her in surprise but he didn't even ask the reason anymore. But Shan just said it without him asking.

"I'll probably starve myself I can't move due to this headache. It's as if, there are three elephants stepping on it." she described which made Alex chuckle. Shan looked at Alex with annoyance.

"What's so funny?" Shan asked with a hint of annoyance even though she tried to hide it.

"Nothing, nothing. It's just, the way you act reminds of a child being cranky." he replied still chuckling.

"I'm not a child." Shan said with a strict look.

"I know." Alex said his chuckles turning into giggles.

"!, wait. Isn't it Thursday today? What about school?" Shan said with worry. She didn't want to fail her mission. She never failed.

"It's alright. I can tell the principal to-" he couldn't finish his sentence when Shan stood up and started walking but when Shan just took two steps she stumbled and almost hit the floor when Alex jumped up from his kneeling position and catched Shan. "You need rest." he said in a soft voice.
