The day of Shan's graduation has finally come. If this was all done, Shan already had a very good idea to celebrate her success.
As her name was finally called she then went up the stage to make a valedictorian speech.
"Hello, everyone. It really is the day. A day that shows our success. A celebration that indicated our hard work over the years to reach this day. I'm very grateful to everyone who did their best and to those people who helped everyone, especially me too. We all couldn't have reach this day if it weren't for the help of anyone. I hope you will all be happy and will be satisfied of your success and be proud to the people who made this whole thing possible. That is all." Shan said with a smile and went back down to her seat with everyone's hands clapping showing their appreciation from Shan's speech.
Everything went smoothly as more names were called out to get their trophy of finishing their education. The teachers clapped to each names and Shan couldn't help but wonder why Alex didn't attend. It wasn't because she was worried, but because she won't be able to know where her target will be. She won't be able to celebrate later.
When the graduation was over she went to her car and staked in her car for a while, hoping to get a glance of Alex and finally do what she was aching to do.
Finally, Shan's hopes weren't let down. Alex did show up but didn't expect to have someone clinging onto him like a baby coala stick on its mom until it was old enough. It was clearly a girl. No doubt about that.
But the only thing that disturbed Shan was that the empty feeling in her chest. She felt as if someone had punched her heart out before putting it back in. Shan was again confused of this new thing. Then her reflection's words came echoing back in her head, 'You like him... don't even try to deny that...'
Shan just shook her head. She wasn't. That's it. No more. But the whole thing kept on ringing in her head. Her body even tried to move and try to stop her way towards the classroom and rip the girl away from Alex as much as possible but she restrained herself from doing such an act.
"Keep it together..." Shan said to herself while taking in deep breaths.
Until she couldn't hold it anymore and just drove away. Good thing it wasn't just her car in the parking lot of the campus or it would have been suspicious.
When she arrived back to her hotel, she closed the door. What was that about?
She quickly went towards her bedroom mirror and did her way of calm.
"It's not true, right?"
"I already told you. It's real. Want me to pinch you or punch you?"
"Sigh..."
Shan was literally pacing back and forth in front of her mirror now with her fingers supporting her chin. Deep in thoughts, her pacing was getting more and more intense the deeper she is in her mind.
Then suddenly a question popped up which made her even more curious.
Who is she? Why was she clinging onto him like they are very close? Is she a relative? Was she the reason Alex was gone for months? Days? Could she be...her girlfriend?
That can't be. Alex can't just go and get over it so easily when she slammed that door. Or...did he really lost interest in her that fast?
Shan slapped herself.
"No one cares, Shan!"
She turned around towards the mirror to talk to herself again.
"With or no girlfriend. He has to die." Shan said glaring at herself.
