Alistair McClair
It has been a few weeks since the entire event at my company went down. Luckily, it seems that my company did not suffer too much. I did lose a few clients, who were hesitant about the stability and state of the company.
The board that I implemented has been eager to make sure that all activities are closely monitored. Nothing will escape their prying eyes. Kostas has been leading a team to fix any policies that Ronald and his cronies passed during their time.
As for me, I've still continued to work hard everyday. There isn't a day that goes by where I'm not grateful for all the things I have been given and worked for.
During a small party at the Fischer's residence, I was able to get to know more of Calvin's family. They all seemed to love me and appreciated me for being a great match for Cavlin.
As for Calvin, I'm still in love with him, and always will be. Everything about our relationship is just perfect. Even our arguments are perfect, because we can easily make up after a few minutes.
I think I've created a new family, and I'm forever glad for that.
At my apartment, I was busy writing something when Calvin asked me a question.
"How were your first girlfriends?" He asked. I knew at one point, he would ask me about my extensive past of relationships.
"What do you want to know?" I asked him as I pushed my work aside.
"Well, I know that most of your relationships lasted only a few days. But surely the first few must've been something interesting." He said.
I picked a grape from the bowl in the middle and popped it into my mouth, slowly chewing on it.
"They were fine, I guess." I replied. "The first one, Theodora Pennington, was a nice woman. But we didn't get along because her family grew up rich and I didn't. Then the second, Lucy Carraway, was a bit more complicated. She was still salty because she was engaged before we dated."
Something must've clicked in Calvin's head. "Lucy! Right! Her engagement to the NFL star before he left her for someone else."
"Exactly. So she wanted to use our relationship as revenge. It got tiring because of the constant photoshoots and her nagging. Then there was Madam Valentina Santana. She was a nice woman. No issues with her. We just weren't a good match."
"Who followed?"
"Delvene Duchess. Nice woman. But the problem was she spoke very softly. It was almost a whisper. But she was fine, we actually dated for over two weeks. Then it was Miriam Goodman."
"Which matches were your favorite?" He asked.
"Shelia Nester, of course. And Rima Williams. They're the only exes that I'm still in contact with."
