In the silent depths where shadows move,
A soul drifts alone, finding no comfort.
Lost in an infinite sea, drowning in waves of unrealized potential.Thine eyes once bright, now dimmed and gray,
Dreams eroded by the harsh tide waves.
Heartbeats echo in thine hollow chest,
A symphony of sorrow, seeking rest.Hope, a distant star, fades from sight,
Swallowed by the darkness of the night.
Loneliness, a phantom, tightens its grip,
Pulling deeper, each breath a slip.Memories float, ghostly and pale,
Fragments of a story left to derail.
Emptiness wraps like a chilling shroud,
Muffling cries, a whispering cloud. No hands reach out from this abyss,
No tender words, no loving kiss.
Just the cold embrace of solitude's might,
In the vast expanse of the endless night.Yet, in the silence, a flicker remains,
A fragile spark amid the pains.
For even in depths where light seems rare,
A spark can grow, with tender care. But for now, the waves still rise,
Drowning the heart, blinding the eyes.
In the quiet void, the soul does weep,
Lost in the sea of an empty deep.- Chanté Buchanan
