It was so cold. That's all she could remember. The feeling of falling. Her name being screamed.
"Aika!!!!!"
Zuko. His terrified face. His stretched out hand. Their fingers brushing but she fell. Where was zuko?
Aika forced her eyes open quickly squinting them as the sunrise blinded her. How long has she been out?
"What are we going to do with her?"
"I don't know. I just feel a connection with her."
"That's called stockholm syndrome."
"Sokka!"
"What?! It is!"
Aika had no idea where she was but everything ached like rocks had fallen on top of her.
"Maybe she's meant to teach you how to bend fire?"
"No, it feels more than that."
"Stockholm syndrome. Ow! Why did you hit me?"
The three people bickering was causing a throbbing headache on the girl as she lifted her head to see who they were.
Her blue eyes immediately landed on the bald child with blue arrows. The avatar.
Aika tried to move her arms to send a ball of fire towards the group but was halted to a stop.
"Huh?"
Aika looked down to see she was tied to a tree with rope. Aika almost laughed at how pathetic these three were. Tying a firebender in rope that they could easily burn.
"Did you really have to tie her up?"
"She's a firebender. They're evil."
"Says the one who tied me to a tree." Aika's voice was horsey from the lack of water.
The three jumped whirling around to look at the girl, this gave the girl a chance to study each of them further.
The avatar relaxed within seconds as he held his staff to lean on looking at the girl with eyes full of curiosity.
The girl dressed in blue glared harshly at Aika, hands placed Infront of her in a low stance. Clearly some kind of bender.
Then lastly, the boy that Zuko had beaten so easily held a bat of some kind ready to swing at the girl.
"You're awake! How are you feeling?" The avatar asked as he tried to approach the girl but his friends held him back.
"What are you doing?! She's a firebender. She's dangerous." The older boy exclaimed as he grabbed the boy.
"He's the avatar. He should be able to defend himself." Aika smirked watching the girl who never once moved.
"What are you gonna do? Wave your pretty little hands at me." Joked Aika causing the girl to stand up straight with a scowl.
"I don't like this, Aang."
The boy ignored the girl as he approached Aika before kneeling Infront of her.
"Hey! I'm Aang, I'm an airbender." The boy smiled as he placed his hand out Infront of himself.
Aika glared at his hand before tugging on the ropes.
"I'm tied up, remember."
"Oh yeah. Sorry about that." Aang awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck before glancing behind him.
"Maybe we could untie her?"
"Are you joking me?!!! She'll barbecue us!"
"Hey genius!" Aika called as she lit her hands a light burning the rope in seconds.
