Luther *

Luther sat in his mini mansion, a self-made man with a little empire of his own. He had set up his retirement and made dirty deals with the Sheriff, securing his place in the underworld of Lake City. His latest venture involved trafficking young girls, whom some of them he treated as his own personal servants.

Veronica, Luther's main woman, filled with jealousy and hatred. She despised the other girls Luther kept, resenting their presence in her life. She had tried everything to get rid of them, resorting to threats, abuse, and even dabbling in witchcraft and voodoo to no avail.

One evening, Luther sent all his girls away, leaving only Veronica with him in the mansion. He lounged in his favorite leather massage recliner, watching the game enjoying a fresh bag of pork skins and sipping on a Budweiser. But the tranquility was shattered when the power suddenly went out, plunging the mansion into darkness.

As Luther reached under the recliner for his gun, the room suddenly plunged into darkness. He fumbled with his cellphone, desperately trying to activate the flashlight function, but his hands shook with fear and adrenaline.

Footsteps echoed in the darkness, growing louder and closer with each passing moment. Luther's heart pounded in his chest as he struggled to find his weapon.

Then, just as he felt the cold metal of the gun in his grasp, a shadowy figure emerged from the darkness. Luther's blood ran cold as he realized he was too late. When the lights came back on, Luther was dead, a gunshot wound to his chest. The killer had used a silencer, leaving no trace or sound of the gunshot. Veronica claimed she hadn't seen or heard anything, and neither had the neighbors.
