Scarlett's POV

Shaking away all the thoughts, I quickly got off the car and before David could interrupt, I made my was inside, only to stop in my tracks as I felt a strong tug on my wrist.

And before I could even realize what was happening, I was yanked back as he swung me around and my butt landed against the bonnet of his car.

"David..." My breath coming out rugged and heavy all of a sudden.

"What do you think you are doing?" I asked, my voice barely audible even to my own ears, which made me wonder if he even heard me or not?

I looked into his eyes searching for the answer to the question that he hasn't answered yet, but I found none, rather his eyes still had that same pissed off look in them which I noticed earlier outside Drake's villa.

"What you did today was stupid, Scarlett" He broke his silence, while towering over me, looking down into my eyes.

Scarlett? No Scar today?

Well...okay then.

"W-What? What did I do?" I asked and instantly hated the fact that I stammered in front of him.

I was honestly confused as I couldn't understand why he seemed so mad and what was it that I did now?

"Are you...are you mad because you had to drive all the way to Drake's villa at this hour of night?" I asked, the only reason that my brain could come up with.

"And that probably interrupted your time with Alla?" I added before I could stop myself.

"What!?" He mumbled in disbelief.

"Are you stupid!?" He added, frowning.

"I'm not mad because I had to drive all the way out of the city to some fucker's villa" He stated with his jaw clenched.

"And what the fuck does Alla have to do with any of this?" He asked in disbelief.

I narrowed my eyes at him.

"How dare you call me stupid!?" I snapped while jabbing my index finger into his chest but that didn't make him move even an inch from his place.

"And for your kind information, his name is Drake" I spat the words right before trying to walk away from him, key word: trying, as when I tried moving past him he tighten his grip around my wrist, which now made me realize that he was still holding it, and his other hand landed on my hip, holding me back in my place.

An electrifying sensation ran throughout my body as I felt his palm right on the curve of my hip. He leaned down closer to me, his warm breath fanned my face. I gulped when I felt his heated gaze falling down on my slightly parted lips from my eyes for a brief moment.

My eyes mirrored his actions on their own accord as if they had a brain of their own. Gosh! If any of us moves even an inch, I'm certain our lips would touch, my heart hammered against my ribcage, as if if would even jump out any minute now, on the mere thought of that happening.

"I don't remember asking for his fucking name" His voice snapped me out of my thoughts and made me look back into his dark grey eyes once again.

"You have no right to call him names, David. Heck! You don't even know him!" I replied.

"And you do? Huh" He let go off my wrist and held me by my upper arm rather, pulling me closer to himself.

"Tell me, do you know him at all? Do you know him enough to walk into his party at some deserted villa far away from the city, without even informing anybody from your goddamm family!?" He hissed.
