Love at First View

~5th Grade~ 

I remember that moment perfectly, as if it was just yesterday. I was at my best friend Deliah's house after school in 5th grade. We were doing a "school project" according to what we told our parents. But really we were just chilling in her room. Just flipping through magazines, gossiping, listening to music, pretty much all the things girls do.

At that moment she was giving her pets some food (she has 2 hamsters, a small bunny, and 2 fishies) and she was telling me "I really can't believe Andrew asked you out, what did you say?" Yeah I know we were like 11 year olds but we were all really stupid back then. "I told him I will give him the answer later because I have to think about it." I said while scrolling through You Tube on her room computer.

That is one reason we always come over to her house instead of mine. Unlike me she is an only child and is a spoiled girl.The good thing is she isn't snobbish about it. She is the smartest, prettiest, honest, responsible, funniest, girl I have ever know, a few reasons why she is my best friend. 

Unlike me I consider myself a liar, dumb student, irresponsible,immature,ugly and okay i gotta admit I am hilarious. So I have no clue why she even decided to become my friend 2 years ago when I was a new student. I was all alone sitting on the swings when she asked me if I wanted to play something. We couldn't figure out what to play so we decided to pull a prank on this girl in our class (I totally forgot her name).

The prank was really easy, simple and not that funny since we were like 9 then. We were going to offer her half of Deliah's milk she brought for lunch and tell her there was a spider in the outside of the carton (lame I know). Well the pranked went well...even a bit better than we expected. The girl got the milk carton and was about to drink out of it when I told her there was a spider on the carton. After that everything went like slow motion. She had the carton tilting down to drink it when she asked me where it was all scared and stuff. I pointed my finger to the bottom of the carton and accidentally pushed the carton forward spilling the milk all over her. It was so funny, me and Deliah were rolling on the floor laughing.

But turns out that girl didn't find it funny and told the teacher. We both got in trouble and I think that was one of the only times Deliah had ever gotten in trouble. But it was all worth it at the end. We became inseparable best friends and have a good memory to use in case we ever need a good laugh. 

Anyways as she finished giving her pet food she asked me "So are going to say yes or no?". I thought about and told myself what is the worst that can happen. Andrew was really cute and smart. Yet he was also a funny troublemaker. "I will probably say yes" I answered truthfully. As I clicked a video that was like a cover or something. "OMG OMG OMG OMG Really?" I didn't even hear Deliah's reaction when I listened to what looked to be a 13 year old boy named Justin Bieber sing. He had the best voice I had ever heard and then his face. His Face! He was the cutest guy I had ever seen! 

And that was the start of a big mistake.
