I was slightly giggly by the time Gabriel had slowed down enough to catch his breath, his swearing had toned down to an occasional softly spoken endearment in my ear. I had never known swearwords could be so affectionate, but he managed it somehow. He held me closer and I sighed as I leaned into him, hoping he wouldn't stop. I just wanted to curl up with him here on the side of the road and let the world pass by for a little while.

"Fuck!"

I jumped at the sudden change in his tone and then shifted so he could pull his cell phone from his back pocket. I fiddled with one of the buttons at his collar and gulped away the disappointment as he tapped at the screen. I was sure whoever had sent the text he was now staring at probably needed him to go and do something for the Academy. He finished reading, and then banged his head back on the headrest of his seat a couple of times, a new swearword jumping from his lips with each thump. I smirked to myself. He was certainly making up for lost opportunities. He leveled his saddened blue eyes to mine, sighing heavily.

"Damn it Trouble, we've got to get back. Mr. Blackbourne needs several of us on a job right away. I'm supposed to drop you off at Dr. Green's for the night, since it's on the way there. You okay with that?"

I nodded and moved to scoot off of his lap, but he held me back. I looked up at him inquisitively and then squealed when he licked from the hallow of my throat all the way up to just behind my ear. His mouth found my ear, tracing my lobe with his lips.

"Mine."

I shivered, laughing as he gave me one last squeeze and then let me down. I buckled up as he started the car and twisted the wheel to get us back into traffic.

Gabriel had knocked at the door twice and I was beginning to wonder whether Dr. Sean was truly home, even though the lights were visibly on in the fading evening light. I turned from the door to look out over the small front yard, nicely trimmed with small evergreen bushes. I wondered how he found time to keep everything so well clipped. Gabriel growled and knocked again, and the sound of the door opening had me turning to face it. Fuzzy, bright purple kitty slippers caught my attention first, then plaid pajama bottoms and a plain white t-shirt as I lifted my eyes ever higher. Tired but happy green eyes came next, followed by a brilliant smile that was slowly getting wider.

"Pookie! You finally decided to come visit me! About time too. I was going to come kidnap you one of these days if I was going to be forced to live without your company for much longer."

He grabbed my hand and pulled me through the door. I smiled and waved at Gabriel, amused at the antics but sad I couldn't spend more of the evening with him. His eyes danced with amusement after Dr. Green and then flicked to me as Sean crouched down and told me to get on his back piggy-back style. My eyes widened, but I climbed on as he hefted me up under my legs. I gripped onto Sean's shoulders and chest with some trepidation and looked back to see Gabriel just closing the door. I called out, wanting a parting word before he went.

"Tomorrow Meanie, same time, same place?"

He reopened the door, poking his head in and letting me see his wink before he closed it completely. I grinned in anticipation.

"Ha! I get you all to myself. Are you hungry? Thirsty? I think I have something here we can eat. Let's go see."

I held tightly to him as he made his way to his kitchen, giggling nervously. Sean stopped in front of the fridge, opening it and bending over so that I was practically laying on his back. My breasts felt squished and I tried to move so I wasn't in such a strange position that made me want to squirm. Sean looked back at me, smirking as another nervous giggle left my lips. He wagged his finger at me.
