Raghuvanshi's. The Raghuvanshi's were shining all over the world. There business was reaching the clouds. People loved and respected them. Not just because of their business but because of their services towards the public. Every single citizen of India had their name on their lips. People's heads would automatically bow down whenever any member of the family walked across. And the ones who were successful in doing this was the eldest son of the Raghuvanshi's

Abhimanyu Raghuvanshi

He was strong, confident and courageous. He became the world's first youngest and biggest businessman. His two brothers Vikram and Parth were the right and left hands of him. Together they formed a strong, fearless trio.

There were many other businessman craving the title of Abhimanyu. And one of them, was Ajeet Rao, the second biggest businessman of the world. He made several attempts to get the title of him but failed brutally everytime. But this time, He would do anything for the title. Anything.

"Why will he agree to this ???"

Naina Rao, Ajeet's wife asked with knitted brows. Confusion all over her face.

"He will Naina. He will."

Ajeet Rao said with heavy voice and a blank face. Everyone present in the room looked at each other with confusion and worry, trying to figure out what was he trying to do.

"What about Vandhana ???"

Sagar Rao asked. Ajeet took a deep breath and took a calculative pause before saying.

"I'll go talk to her"

He stood up and turned his feet to go.

"Why is he doing this ???"

Shivani Rao, Sagar's wife asked.

"If this is what we have to do for being the biggest businessmen, we will do it."

Harsh Rao, the youngest brother of Ajeet said with a stern look.

Vandhana's Pov

I was sitting on the swing in the garden, playing with my pet dog, Dollar. The weather was cloudy today and the cold breeze was hitting my skin sending me chills.

I patted Dollar's head, who was on my lap with closed eyes having his best time. It was all so peaceful today. I liked being in the garden most of the time when I'm free. I love the plants and the flowers with butterflies. The birds singing their own sweet melody and hopping around happily. There was just peace.

But soon the peace faded away from my body and mind when I saw Baba coming towards me with a straight face. I stood up and Dollar got away from my lap and jumped from the swing to the ground.

He came closer towards me and I quickly lowered my gaze getting ready for the wave of taunts and anger coming for me. He stood infront of me and asked in a plain voice.

"Have you done all your work ???"

I silently nodded. After a short pause he again said.

"I have to tell you something."

"Ji"

I muttered. He sucked in a deep breathe. I still didn't dare to look up at him and waited for him to continue.

"I have sent a marriage proposal of yours to the Raghuvanshi Family."

He said and I couldn't process for a second. After getting what he said, my eyes widened and my head snapped up towards him. The ground slipped beneath my feet. Marriage proposal ???? Mine ???? To the Raghuvanshi family ???? Wait- Who are they ????

"I have chosen their eldest son Abhimanyu Raghuvanshi for you. I think he is good for you."

Abhimanyu Raghuvanshi ???? Who the hell is that ????

I felt like I forgot how to talk. The words were not forming in my mouth.

"Look, I am getting old and I cannot keep you in this home for forever. If not today than tomorrow, you have to get married. And I think this is the perfect age for your marriage. I may be meeting Inder Raghuvanshi any day now and talk about giving your hand to Abhimanyu."

He said and I could not help but just stutter.

"B-but Baba...I- .....How can I-I.....I mean....Marriage....S-So early ????"

Tears started forming in my eyes. But his face remained emotionless and voice remain stern as he said.

"So ??? Who will bear your expenses after my death. You will wander like some crazy person. It's better to get you married at the right age. You won't even find any boy afterwards. You'll be lucky to have them if they accepted you even with this face and manners. Don't be ungrateful."

He said louder this time and I flinched. I saw him turning and walking away while I stared at his disappearing figure with my teary vision.

He completely vanished from my sight and I felt weak in my legs and fell on the ground. I let the tears fall from my eyes and cried hard. My world was torn apart.

Getting married ??? With a stranger ??? Going to a house and living with the people I never knew existed for the rest of my life ????

Rest. Of. My. Life.

I repeated my own words in my mind and broke into more cries. Dollar came forward and licked my tears. I put him ony lap and cried hard while hugging him.

Scene shift : Raghuvanshi Haveli

All the Raghuvanshi's were gathered in the hall. They all were waiting for Abhimanyu Raghuvanshi. Inder Raghuvanshi, his grandfather told everyone about the marriage proposal that came for him today.

Let's be honest, they all knew that Abhimanyu was not going to agree that easily. But, if Inder will convince him, maybe he will think about it. Afterall he is so close to him.

"What if Bhai didn't agree ???"

Gauri asked with raised eyebrows only to get a slap on her shoulder from her Elder sister, Smriti.

"Why are you saying like this ???"

She said in a little anguish tone.

"She brings negativity everywhere. I am still warning you all. Throw her out of the haveli or else she will dance on our heads !!!"

Parth, the other younger one teased her. Gauri made a crying face.

"Maaa !!!!"

She complained to Sangeeta, her mother. Before Sangeeta could say anything the deep voice of Vikram reached their ears.

"If you two didn't stop right now, you both may have to do the dishes after dinner today. Right Badi ma ???"

He said and looked at Rekha. She nodded in agreement and both of them gasped before falling silent quickly.
