The Next Day.

Beck didn't want to speak to anyone after finding out about Brianna, he had completely isolated himself from the rest of the group. Isla decided to call him, just to check in and see how he was doing. The phone rings for a while, then finally Beck picks up, "Hello..?" He sounds very tired and groggy, "Hey, I just was wanting to check in and see how you were doing." Beck responds, "Well um, my girlfriend was just brutally murdered last night. So, I'm not doing great." Isla sighs, "I'm really sorry, Beck. I truly am." Beck sighs, his voice a bit shaky, "Y'know, we weren't even getting along that great lately. But that doesn't mean I wanted to kill her, I loved her." Isla replies, "I know, I know. You don't deserve to be feeling like this." Beck responds, "I just know whoever did this isn't going down easy." Isla chuckles, "We'll make sure they will, don't worry." Beck groans, "Everyones been checking in, but I really don't feel like talking to anybody." Isla asks, "Oh, do you wanna be alone right now?" Beck replies, "Yeah, if that's okay. I'm not trying to be mean, I just really can't talk to anybody right now." Isla responds, "I get it, don't worry." Beck replies, "Thanks." Isla clears her throat, "See you later, yeah?" Beck responds, "Yeah." Isla hangs up, she lies back onto her bed. She's been stressed about this whole thing, she just is worried about how it's going to end up for her.

Charlie walks over to Karas bedroom door, he knocks on it. She calls out, "Yeah?" Charlie asks, "Can I come in?" Kara replies, "Yep." Charlie opens the door, Karas lying in bed, texting someone on the phone. Charlie smirks, "Who you texting, huh?" Kara shakes her head, "Ah, nobody." Charlie asks, "Your boyfriend?" Kara shakes her head, "No, things have been weird with me and him lately." Charlie sits on the bed beside her, "I'm sorry, I wish things were going better." Kara shrugs, "It is what it is." Charlie asks, "But who are you texting? Now I'm intrigued." Kara chuckles, "It's nobody." Charlie raises an eyebrow, "You're a really bad liar." Kara chuckles, "Whatever." Charlie insists, "Come on, tell me." Kara groans, "Whhyy?" Charlie nudges her, "You know you can't keep anything from me." Kara chuckles, "Okay, it's just Justin." Charlie asks, "Oooh, Justin?" Kara shakes her head, "Nothing is going on, I'm dating Ian." Charlie nods, "But you did just say things were weird, and I have noticed you don't seem too happy when he's around." Kara sighs, "I don't know, he's just been really weird lately." Charlie stammers, "Uh..don't take this the wrong way, but...have you ever considered the possibility of him being the killer-?" Kara shrugs, "I don't even know at this point." Charlie asks, "I gotta ask now, but do you have a crush on Justin?" Kara hesitates, "Uhm..no?" Charlie pushes, "Right, liar." Kara nudges him, "I'm not-!" Charlie chuckles, "Uh huh, totally." Kara rolls her eyes with a small laugh, "I mean...I don't know, maybe?" Charlie asks, "Maybe?" Kara shrugs, "He just actually makes me feel good about myself, I feel like I can be just me around him without worrying what he'll think." Charlie asks, "So, a crush?" Kara chuckles, "I guess so, I really do like him, Charlie." Charlie nods, "I had a feeling you did, but just beware when telling Ian." Kara responds, "Oh no, I'm definitely not. If anything, I might just tell him it's not working, then get with Justin after." Charlie coughs, "Moving onto the next guy real quick, I see..." Kara slaps his shoulder, "Hey!" Charlie laughs, "But seriously, I do think you guys would be real cute together. Tell Justin I like him." Kara nods, "I will, for sure." Kara types on her phone, then a response comes back through. "He said he really appreciates it, and he thinks you're really cool." Charlie puts his hand over his heart, "Wow, I am TOUCHED." Kara chuckles, "But he's just been really understanding about everything going on, Ian like doesn't get it really." Charlie nods, "I understand why you like Justin more then." Kara chuckles, "But I just feel really bad for Ian, I'm not trying to hurt him." Charlie shrugs, "If he takes it bad, he takes it bad. Theres not much you can do about that, but it's definitely not something you should keep stressing over." Kara sighs, "You're right...so should I tell him?" Charlie shakes his head, "I don't think right now would be the best time, but maybe later. Just when theres a good opportunity, and so he doesn't completely get embarrassed." Kara nods, "Alright, I will." Charlie gives her a small smile, "We'll get outta here soon, I promise." Kara smiles slightly back at him, "I'd really like that." Charlie stands up and leaves Karas room, he definitely doesn't want to stay here any longer and risk Kara or Mandy getting hurt.

Charlie walks out into the living room, he sees Mandy talking on the phone. "Look, if you could just give me another day, I'd-" She sees Charlie, "Hey, hold on a second." She puts the phone down, "How's Kara?" Charlie responds, "She's pretty good. Uuh, who ya calling?" Mandy rolls her eyes and whispers back, "It's my boss, he's being a total pain in my ass about the days I'm missing." Charlie chuckles, "You want me to talk to him?" Mandy shakes her head, "No, no, no, it's alright. I'll get through to him." Mandy puts the phone back up to her ear, "Sorry, I'm back..but yes, I should be there tomorrow or Friday." Charlie walks into the kitchen, he opens the refrigerator and scans his eyes around it. He grabs a water bottle and shuts the fridge, he opens it and takes a small drink from the bottle. He looks out the sliding glass door, he sees something that catches his eye all of a sudden. He sees a dark figure rush past a tree in the backyard, he puts the bottle down and squints to look closer. He doesn't see anybody, he unlocks the back door and peeks his head out. "Hey, there anyone out here? I'll call the police right now!" Theres of course no response, Charlie shuts the glass door. He gulps, he's been a bit on edge ever since he had gotten attacked and this most definitely was not helping at all. Mandy walks into the kitchen, "Hey." Charlie jumps hearing her voice, "Woah, it's just me, Charlie." Charlie sighs, "Sorry, I just..swore I saw something back there." Mandy asks, "In the backyard?" Charlie nods, Mandy looks out of the glass door, "I don't see anybody?" Charlie brushes it off, "I'm just being too worried, it's probably nothing." Mandy rubs his shoulder, "Don't worry, babe. We're alright in here."

Ruth had called Justin, she felt bad about what had happened with them a few days prior. He answers, "Ruth?" She sighs, "Hey.." He asks, "What do you want?" She responds, "I..wanted to apologize for what I said, I was just really scared about everything going on and I'm really stressed." He sighs, "But you accused me of murdering my best friend, Ruth." Ruth responds, "I know, that was really, really messed up." He chuckles, "Yeah, NOW you realize that." Ruth replies, "Look Justin, I'm really sorry. Seriously." Justin sighs, "It's alright, there's no point of me staying mad if a killers gonna get us anyways." Ruth responds, "Don't say that, I'm sure we'll be fine." Justin replies, "I hope so." Ruth asks, "I did hear some stuff from Isla, about you and Kara?" Justin chuckles nervously, "Wha..what stuff? Theres no stuff, what stuff did she say?" Ruth chuckles, "Oh, you're in DEEP love with her." Justin replies, "I am not." Ruth responds, "Oh, right. Because I sure act nervous like that when someone brings up one of my guy friends." Justin audibly groans, "I don't know, Ians always with her and she definitely deserves someone better." Ruth asks, "So you admit you like her?" Justin replies, "I'm not admitting shit, Ruth." Ruth chuckles, "Alright, alright. But..I do think you guys would be cute." Justin chuckles, "Thanks, but NOT gonna happen." Ruth responds, "Whatever you say, Justin." Justin chuckles, "I'm hanging up, you're annoying." Ruth chuckles, "Bye, then." Justin hangs up, Ruth feels a little less guilty and worried now that she's made up with Justin.

Ian sits at home, he'd been texting Kara all day, but had gotten no responses back. He saw she's been active, so he's pretty confused. He rolls his eyes and lies back on his bed, he's really confused about everything going on. He doesn't get why Karas been distant from him, or why she's been hanging out with everyone else more, specifically Justin.
