Minju pov

The next day, as I was about to head home from school, Felix caught up to me with an excited grin on his face. "Hey, Minju, do you want to go watch a movie tomorrow?" he asked, holding up a pair of tickets.

I couldn't help but smile at the offer. "Sure, I'd love to!" I replied, already picturing the fun evening ahead. I could almost taste the buttery popcorn and hear the surround sound booming in the theater.

Before we could finalize our plans, Seungmin appeared beside us, his eyes curious. "What movie are you guys talking about?" he asked, leaning over Felix's shoulder to check out the tickets.

Felix hesitated, and I could see the gears turning in his head. "Uh, it's the new Avengers movie," he said, his voice trailing off as he glanced at me.

Seungmin's face brightened at the mention of the movie. "Oh, that sounds cool. Mind if I join you guys?" he asked, a bit too eagerly.

My heart sank, and I bit my lip, unsure how to respond. There were only two tickets, and I didn't want to disappoint either of them. "Um, actually, Felix and I were planning to go together," I said softly, trying to be as gentle as possible.

Seungmin's expression faltered, and I saw a flicker of hurt in his eyes. "Oh, I see," he muttered, his voice clipped. "Well, I guess I'll just watch it some other time then."

As he turned to leave, a pang of guilt shot through me. "Seungmin, wait!" I called after him, but he kept walking. I turned back to Felix, sighing. "I feel bad now," I admitted, feeling caught in the middle.

Felix nodded sympathetically. "I know, but we can't exactly split one ticket three ways," he pointed out, and I knew he was right. But that didn't make the situation any easier.

Later that night, as Jisung and I were lounging in the living room, engrossed in a movie, my phone buzzed with a text from Felix. "Can't wait for our movie night tomorrow!" he'd written, adding a string of excited emojis.

Jisung peeked over at my phone, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Looks like someone's excited for your movie date," he teased, wiggling his eyebrows.

I rolled my eyes. "It's not a date, Jisung. We're just friends," I insisted, but my words felt a bit hollow even to me.

"Oh, come on, Minju. I've seen the way Felix looks at you," Jisung said, a knowing smile tugging at his lips.

I scoffed, trying to brush off his words. "You're imagining things," I said, but a small part of me wondered if there was any truth to what he was saying.

As the movie played in the background, Jisung kept up his teasing, his comments becoming more pointed. "You know Felix treats you differently, right? He's always going out of his way to make you smile," he remarked.

I waved him off, trying to stay firm. "Felix is just a good friend, that's all."

"But what about Seungmin?" Jisung pressed. "I've seen him get all sulky when Felix gets your attention. You might have a little love triangle on your hands."

I shot him an exasperated look. "You're being ridiculous! Seungmin and I are just best friends. There's no love triangle."

Jisung chuckled, clearly enjoying himself. "Sure, sure. But you might be a little clueless about what's going on around you."

I rolled my eyes at him, not willing to give in. "Well, maybe you're just reading too much into things. People can be friendly without it meaning anything else," I argued, refusing to entertain his wild theories any longer.

But as I lay in bed that night, Jisung's words echoed in my mind. Could there really be something more to Felix and Seungmin's actions,or was Jisung just letting his imagination run wild?
