A new guest and their fall,

AT THE BAR

After Alastor and Lucifer stopped hating each other as much as before, they started talking at the bar more often. Husk and Angel noticed and TOTALLY wouldn't make a big deal out of it!

"I honestly don't know if Sera is still throwing out the angel's, if she's actually doing that I feel bad for Emi, Charlie told me that she even had an argument with Sera about the extermination, about how 'heaven is a place for second chances', I feel like she has dreams and they're being crushed-" 

Lucifer gets cut off as Alastor and Lucifer hear sobbing coming from outside the hotel, "like mine..., is that who I think it is? Sera took it too far now..." Lucifer runs out of the hotel and sees Emi.

"..... Hi Lucifer, I guess I used up Sera's last straw *sniff*, where's Charlie?" Emily asked

Charlie then runs out of the hotel with Vaggie "Oh my grandfather! Emi, what happened, are you okay? Who did this, did Sera do this, why did she do this?" Charlie keeps throwing out questions left and right, Emi just took a tumble down from heaven, she's still sobbing and with all these questions she can't think straight.

"Charlie my dear, how about we take her inside her first and let her rest, hmm? She did just take quite the tumble, let her rest a bit, when she feels a bit better than you can talk to her." Alastor suggests.

"Yeah, I should probably let her rest first. How about we get you a room Emi, you can rest there" Charlie gives a warm, inviting smile, giving her hand to Emi, she takes Charlie's hand and gets dragged into the hotel with Vaggie on Charlie's right. 

"Well! I guess I have a 2nd daughter now, I wonder if fallen angel's can get redeemed, hmm" Lucifer said inquiringly

"Why, you want to leave this hellhole? Then who would be Hells king, hmm~?" Alastor questioned

"I got banned from heaven, can't really go back up, I think Emi can though, since I committed such a 'heinous crime', all I did was give Eve an apple, it's a fruit!"

"It was the forbidden fruit, you dumb duck, I didn't know god cast you out for being stupid." Alastor remarked. 

"OI, I KNOW YOU SAID DUMB DUCK INSTEAD OF DUMB FUCK!" Lucifer exclaimed

"Oh my! I would never, but I guess you'll never know~" Alastor said in a playful tone, then went away into the shadows.

AFTER EMI HAS RESTED

Charlie knocks on Emi's door, she still has her questions from before, like what happened, who did this, did Sera do this and more questions. She heard Emily saying "come in!", so she did. When she walked into Emily's room, Emily was sitting at a desk writing something.

"What are you writing?" Charlie asked

"Well, I already know you have so many questions, so I just wrote them down so I can save some of your time! I wouldn't want to bother you at all!" Emily replied happily

"Oh! Thanks, this will save us a lot of time" Charlie said jokingly, "I'm going to go read this in my office, if you have any questions ask me or Vaggie!"

Charlie is now reading the letter as she's walking to her office, somehow, Emily predicted all Charlie's questions so that she wouldn't have to ask a new question every 5 seconds.

"Sera... what now?" Emily asks guilty, Emily hates what she's doing, she doesn't want to ruin Charlie's plans, after all, she admires how Charlie is trying to redeem sinners.

"Now, you can come back. All we needed is for her to see that even the Seraphim can fall, then we leave this" Sera says in a serious tone

"W-what?, all she needed was to see me fall? And now we're just going to leave it? B-but...?" Emily is confused, does that mean she had fallen for nothing, is she just a pawn in Sera's game? But the only thing she can do is obey, so she does what she is told to do.

A few minutes later, Charlie is knocking on Emily's door, Emily isn't replying, so Charlie opens the door. There is no trace of Emily left, the bed is perfectly made, the room is spotless. Charlie is now confused, "Nifty?" Charlie calls

Nifty is now scurrying to the room, "Yeah?"

"Did you already clean this room?" Charlie is super confused now, a few minutes ago, Emily was in the room, and now she's just gone.

"Nope! Is that all? I was talking to Alastor about how to kill people" Nifty then does her demonic giggle and scurries away before Charlie can even say anything.

Charlie is confused, but she also doesn't know what could happen, so she left it as is.

Hiii! Hope you like the 2nd chapter, I spent this chapter introducing Emily and how she fell and show betrayed Charlie. From the title of the book, you can tell this book is about betrayal, and I plan to keep it that way 🤭
