THIS DAY IS CONTINUED FROM THE LAST CHAPTER'S DAY, AND IT IS THE NEXT DAY ALSO.
A knock on my door.
"One minute!" I said throwing on my sweatpants. "Okay, come in."
Eric walked in. "Hey babe. What you wanna do?" He asked.
"Hmmm...we just went swimming, so not that, we'll do that tomorrow. How about we eat food?"
"Yup. To the kitchen!"
We ran down to the kitchen, asking what was for dinner. It was a chicken with homemade roasted potatoes. My favorite, although it would take about an hour to cook.
"Wanna go outside?" I asked.
"And go on the trampoline?" He asked me.
"Sure, RACE YA!" I said, dashing out the back door to the trampoline, but he beat me. He is a football player, after all.
Our trampoline was pretty big, and it could handle me, my siblings, my mom, and Eric all at the same time. But right now, it's just me and Eric obviously. We did a bunch of jumping, and a ton of flips before my mom called us in to set the table.
When we were inside I saw an extra-extra plate on the counter, "Who's the other extra plate for, besides Eric?"
"Oh, Audge! I forgot to tell you! My boyfriend is coming over tonight for dinner, so just be yourself. Okay?" YES! I FINALLY GET TO MEET HIM.
"Okay!! Can't wa-" I was cut off by the doorbell.
"That's him! I'll get it, just put the plates on the table with forks, glasses, and drinks? Oh, and the things of food, Thanks." She said, slowly walking to the door, fixing her outfit.
"I'll do plates and forks, and food, you do glasses and drinks." I said to him, scrabbling around to put the dishes in the right places and the forks on them, along with the food in the middle of the table. When we were both done, we looked at the table, everything nice and neat on the table, and we gave eachother a highfive.
"GUYS! COME DOWNSTAIRS! TIME TO EAT!" I yelled up the stairs, loud footsteps trappling down them, and the sound of scraping chairs following. Mom opened the door, as I told them to just be theselves, but a little less crazy. He was a tall, fit man. He was handsome, too. His darkish skin, dark hair and eyes clashed with my mom's light-ish tan skin, brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a surfer dude outfit. T-shirt, swimshorts, and a seashell necklace.
"Everyone, this is Blake. My new boyfriend." She said, him kissing her on the head. "Blake, these are my kids." She went down the line, oldest to youngest. With the ages. "Audrey, and her boyfriend, 15, Mason, 13, Chloe, 12, Ava, 7, Ethan, 5."
"Well, nice to meet you everyone." He said looking at my mom.
"And you can come and sit next to me," She said, pointing at one of the end seats. "Dig in everyone!"
We all headed for the chicken, Blake laughing. We didn't even get half way through dinner without Ethan asking a billion questions.
"Are you a surfer!?"
"Yup."
"Is it fun!"
"Very."
"Do you have a motorcycle?"
"No?"
"A car?"
"Yes."
"Is it a convertible?"
"It actually is..."
"Are you rich?"
"Kind of..."
"Okay, enough questions Ethan. Let the man eat," Mom butted in, glaring at Ethan.
"Sorry." Ethan replied, mouth full of potatoes. Blake laughing again.
When dinner was over, Ethan looked like he had a good time, and me and Eric headed upstairs. It was 8:30.
"Netflix?" He asked.
"Netflix." I replied.
We began settling down in my bed, me turning on our favorite show. B.P.D. Boston Police Department. (Author speaking here: I came up with that, it came off of the real t.v show Chigaco P.D) About mid-way through the show, Eric pulled me closer to him, kissing me on the head. We have been dating for more than a year now, and we've never actually had a REAL kiss yet. And, I'm kind of fine with that.
"Lets go to bed." I said, it now being almost 10.
"Yea," Eric replied, letting my waist go.
He fell asleep about 5 minutes before me. I just lay there, staring at him.
NEXT MORNING
I woke up after Eric, by like 10 minutes. He was laying there, on his phone. And what woke me up was the flash on his phone. He was taking a picture of me.
"Hey." He said, tucking his phone under the pillow.
"I know you took a picture of me." I said, wiping the grogginess out of my eyes.
"Oh well." He said, tickling me.
'"Stop it," I said, tickling his stomach.
"I surrender!" He said, putting up his arms, getting off the bed.
"Lets get breakfast," I said, getting out of bed also.
"Okay." He said, heading out my bedroom door.
"No one else is awake!" Eric whisper-yelled to me.
"We'll go to the breakfast shop down the street. And we'll leave my mom a note." I said, getting out the notepad.
I scribbled the note,
Hey mom, no one else is awake, and me and Eric are heading out for breakfast at BunchOBreakfast down the street. Just letting you know.
~Audrey
"We'll go in the clothes we have on now." I said, leading him out the back door quietly.
We were going to walk since,
1: Neither one of us were aloud to drive.
2: Neither of us had a bike with us. Plus, who rode bikes anymore anyways.
3: We had no other way of getting there, since skateboard was pretty dangerous at this hour.
When we got to the place, it was cozy, so we at down and ate. When we were done, we walked home and everyone was awake, eating their own breakfast.
"Time to swim! Go change!" I said to Eric, pushing him up the stairs.
