In Shock.

"YAY!!!!" Ethan shouts.

"Whoo! I wanna be flower girl!" Ava yells.

"I call bridesmaid!" Chloe says.

"Cool." Mason says.

I was in shock. I'm glad my mom has moved on. But I cannot stand the fact of her getting married to him so soon...

"Audrey! You get to be my Maid of Honor!"

"Oh! That's great. When is the wedding...?"

"Valentine's Day! Which is 5 months away."

"Oh. Great." I say, excusing myself.

"Wait! Dinner is done! Everyone at the table," Mom says, as I'm walking upstairs.

Dinner is really awkward for me. Everyone is asking random questions about the wedding. And then, Ava asks a question that almost makes me regurgitate my chicken and potatoes.

"Is Blake moving in with us!" Ava asked, as Blake shoots Mom a glare.

"Yes I am kids." Blake says. "My stuff is going to be moved into here in a few weeks." He tells us, mouth full. I finish my food and excuse myself.

I go upstairs and log onto Skittler. I start a chat group with me, Eric, Willow, Bri, Bella, and Lina. I type in 'My mom is getting married to Blake.' Eric responds immetiately. 'Woah. A surfer step-dad...' 'Cool!' Bri responds. 'Aren't you happy?' Willow asks. 'Ehh, in between...' I reply. 'Gotta go...' I say, closing my laptop and plopping down on my bed. I scream into my pillow. I wonder where my dad is. I wonder...

The next day, I roll out of bed, to the noise of my mom yelling, "Audrey! Get up!". I didn't even realize that I fell asleep right after my Skittler chat. My dog was laying right on my rug, so I accidently stepped on her tail. "Sorry baby." I whisper, walking past her. I put on some clothes, (a white hoodie and a pair of jeans with my boots), but don't bother to do my hair, makeup, or put contacts in. I walk down the stairs into the kitchen. "Yes mom?" I say groggily, looking over at the clock. It's only 8:30am!

"We are going looking for dresses! Dress shopping! Ava and Chloe are coming, too. Oh look, here they come. Oh and your brothers are going tux shopping with Blake."

"Okay." I say, looking at fully dressed Ava and Chloe. I go back up the stairs and do my hair in a single side-braid. I don't put contacts in, but I put on a bit of makeup.  Go back downstairs. Eat breakfast. Go back upstairs. Brush teeth. Go back downstairs. Get in the car. I sit in the front and Ava and Chloe sit in the back. We get to the bridal store. "So what colors are you thinking Mom?" I ask her.

"Pink, red, and white, for Valentine's day." She replies.

"Easy colors." Chloe says.

"Oh and my dress is going to be white. And Audrey, yours white with some red, bridesmaids, yours are going to be red with some white, and flower girl, all three colors." Mom says to all of us.

"Wow. That's detailed." I say to her. We walk into the store and tell the employee what colors we are looking for. She brings us over to a pink and red section. I am automatically drawn to a white and red  dress.  "Mom. This one." I say, holding it up. The whole dress is white, and a red hearts all over.

"Perfect. Go try it on." Mom tells me.

Ava picks out a small white dress with a pink  belt on it, and red lining.  Chloe picks a red dress with white belt and white lining for the bridesmaids. They are pretty cute. Oh and Mom's dress is beautiful. A traditional white. Small top, poofed out bottom.
