After the ginger, who introduced himself as Firestar, asked her a few more questions, like her age, he let her roam around camp and said she could decide when to leave by tomorrow morning. "Apprentice age," He mused, when she told him she was 7 moons old.

Blossom wanted to talk to Jaypaw about the prophecy, but Leafpool told her that he went out to fetch the catmint he was supposed to get. "Birchfall is with him. To make sure he doesn't go jumping into rivers again," Leafpool chuckled, and Blossom couldn't help but grin. Her pelt felt warm when she heard her stomach grumble loudly. Leafpool smirked.

"Go get something from the fresh kill pile. And pray to StarClan that Spiderleg or Dustpelt doesn't see you, they'd throw a fit if they saw a cat outside the clans eating their prey," She snorted. So not everyone here is nice. I should have known,

She padded out of the medicine cat den, sunlight flitting through and warming her pelt. An occasional chill would sweep through, reminding the clan cats that leaf-fall was approaching. She strides towards the fresh kill pile. I should get something small. I don't want to become too much of a burden. Out of nowhere, pain sliced her shoulder as she felt something thump against her body. She looked up to see a cream colored tom that was larger than her, his claws unsheathed and digging into her shoulder. She wailed in pain, and he deepened his grip.

"Explain what you're doing in ThunderClan territory. Before I rip your fur off," He growled. A million thoughts rushed into her brain. Does everyone know I'm here? Did Firestar plan this? Does Jaypaw or Spottedleaf know? She's dead, how could she know? What about the prophecy?

"Berrypaw!! What are you doing?" An unfamiliar voice called out, and Blossom could feel a cat pushing her attacker off. A brown muscular tabby was scowling at Berrypaw, who was still giving her hostile looks.

"Berrypaw, how do you think things would turn out if you kept attacking every cat you didn't know! If you're so keen to attack intruders, you can attack the elders den for ticks for a whole moon," The tabby growled. Berrypaw almost opened his mouth to retort, but kept it shut. Not without giving Blossom a sour look, though.

The tabby glanced at her shoulder. "You should get that checked in Leafpool's den." He instructed. Blossom couldn't help but notice how familiar he looked. The blood oozing out slowly stopped. Panic shot through her.

"R-right. I um, have to do something real quick, be right back," She dashed off in a random direction, feeling the stares she was earning. She hid behind a tree, gasping for breath. She quickly looked at her shoulder. The bleeding had already stopped, and her wound was already closed. No more blood was pouring.

Mouse dung! She silently cursed. Her wound had instantly healed. Not again!! Ugh, I need to control it, She thought, angry at her own abilities. She should head to the medicine den, smear some herbs, and make it seem like they had healed using those.

I'll just creep in. I'll be in and out, She thought silently as she stealthily stalked towards the den. She popped her head in. No one was in there. Creeping in, her eyes caught the herb storage.

Slowly she crept up towards it, grabbed a random leaf, and ran out of the storage room. Hiding behind a tree, she chewed it to a pulp and smeared it on her shoulder. There. Now everyone will think I went to the medicine den.

"Blossom," A voice said behind her. She jumped, unsheathing her claws. Jaypaw was behind her, herbs in his mouth. She tried to smooth her fur and seem like everything was normal.

"O-oh! Hi Jaypaw!" She stuttered, trying to sound calm. Jaypaw's eyes narrowed. Mouse dung. I hope he doesn't ask what herb he smells.

"Blossom," He started, his voice hiding emotion. "Did you do something?" She panicked. How does he know? Should I lie? I can't tell anyone about my healing.

"I, um, what would make you think that?" She sputtered nervously. Jaypaw narrowed his eyes even more. He then sniffed the air.

"Is that- yarrow leaf?" He asked, the herbs from her shoulder leaving a scent. I hope I used the right herb, She prayed silently.

"Y-yeah. Leafpool gave it for a scratch I had," She stated. Jaypaw's eyebrows furrowed. I used the wrong herb, didn't I? Why does it feel like he could read my emotions? Squirming in her own body, she sheathed and unsheathed her claws.

"Yarrow leafs are either used for vomiting or poison," Jaypaw said slowly, letting the words sink in. She froze. Mouse dung! What should I say?

"Jaypaw! Are you going to bring that catmint?" Blossom's spirits lifted as Leafpool's voice carried from the medicine den. Jaypaw perked his head up. Giving a last glance towards Blossom, he picked up the catmint, and struggled towards the medicine cat den.

That was a close one, Blossom thought desperately. What if he asks Leafpool? What if they found out I lied? Then look at my wound? I didn't think that through! She was so deep in thought she didn't realize a cat was behind her.

"Hey, you're Blossom, right?" A voice said behind her. She whizzed around, and saw the lean, black, she-cat from before.

"Uh, yeah, I- I am," Blossom was still a bit shaken from the earlier conversation. The black cat narrowed her eyes a bit, as if deciding whether to become friends with her or to stay away.

"Well, I'm Hollypaw. You already met my brother, Jaypaw, and know my other brother, Lionpaw," Hollypaw stated. Blossom only nodded. When she first met this cat, she was a bit sharp, and Blossom still couldn't decide if she was nice or not.

"Do you want to go hunting with me?" Hollypaw asked, which surprised Blossom a bit. Hollypaw snorted.

"Don't act so surprised. I just wanted to make up for, you know, being a bit mean earlier," Hollypaw shifted her paws, her black fur almost blending in with the umber tree bark.

"Er, sure," Blossom shrugged, and Hollypaw guided her away from camp, birds chirping in the trees as they walked.
