S.1, Ep.17: Dark Confrontation: Part 2

As Ace lunged towards LiHa, she swung her wand again, conjuring a barrier of dark energy that repelled him with a forceful blast. Ace stumbled backward, narrowly avoiding the brunt of the attack. "Jeez.." He said as he saw the barrier passing by.
"Nice try," LiHa taunted, her voice dripping with malice. "But you'll need more than brute force to defeat me."
Nova rushed to Nats's side, her concern evident as she assessed her friend's condition. Nats groaned, struggling to rise as she shook off the effects of LiHa's spell.
Meanwhile, Luna tightened her grip on the orb, her determination fueling her resolve. She scanned the room, searching for any sign of weakness in their adversary's defenses.
There she saw it. "Okay." She said as she took a deep breath. "Don't let me down on this one please." She threw the orb and sends it towards LiHa. She noticed that and dodged the attack. The cold trail made her give chills on her back. "Another one?" LiHa said as she regained her grip on her wand, ready to attack again.

"We can't let her get away with this!" Luna declared, her voice firm with resolve.
"We need to work together and find a way to break through her defenses." Nova yelled to both Luna and Ace.
Ace nodded, his eyes blazing with determination. "Agreed. We need to strike fast and hard."

The group prepared to face LiHa, the air crackled with tension, signaling the beginning of a fierce battle for their lives. LiHa signed to Jarvis. "I want you to leave now. This might get more intense than I expected." Jarvis nodded and quickly left the room. "Alright then. Where did we left." LiHa pointed her wand at Ace. "You are first." She said and another black ball shot out of the wand. It flew in Ace his direction as suddenly it got interrupted.
Luna parried the attack with her orb and redirected it towards LiHa. She on her turn pulled up a wall to protect her from the attack.
"Poor girl. Didn't you learned that the orb will not work. Pathetic.." LiHa rolled with her eyes but got startled as a bullet nearly missed her.
Nova loaded another bullet in the rifle and aimed at her. "Come on then!" She yelled towards LiHa. LiHa was impressed. "Very well then. As you insist." Before she could attack Nova, Ace came in between them. He clenched his hands into fists as he tried to hit LiHa. He succeeded twice but it had almost no effect on her. LiHa chuckled. "Really. That is all you came up with?"
"No. I was just the distraction." Ace said as he smiled. LiHa looked to her left as the orb flew towards her and hits her in the face. LiHa grunted as she got pushed back. "Argh. Dammit." She slowly stood back up again. "Smart move kid. But not smart enough."
Ace rushed towards LiHa again with the bow. He used the sides of it to attack her but missed again. LiHa swung the wand, not to use a spell, but to hit Ace hard. He flew back a couple meters as he stayed on the ground. "Dammit..." He slowly grunted as he looked up.
LiHa grabbed Ace by his clothes and pulled him up. "If you want to lift your curse, you will need to place your hands on my dead body." LiHa smirked as she looked Ace in the eyes.
Ace smirked as well. "If you say so."
Suddenly LiHa let go of Ace and screamed. Ace fell to the ground and after that quickly stood up and rushed towards LiHa again. Nova tried to see what happed as she noticed a knife in LiHa's chest. It was the knife Izzy gave hik before she passed away.
Ace looked LiHa in the eyes. "It's over LiHa. Done." He pulled the knife out and LiHa dropped to the ground.

Silence.
Everything went silent. Ace looked at LiHa, who was dead now.
Nats stood up with the help of Nova. She was still disoriented by the spell. Luna collected the orb and walked to Ace. "Is it... Over now?" She asked him.
Ace sighed from relief and looked at Luna. "It is."
