S.1, Ep.11: Reunion and Redemption: The Mage's Quest Resumes

As the group headed north, Ace didn't said a single word. It made Nova and Luna a bit uncomfortable so Luna tried to break the ice.
"So uh... You okay Ace?" She hesitated before she finished her sentence.
Ace didn't responded and continued walking.
Nova was still carrying the rifle. "Want this back?" She asked him calm. Still no response.
Luna looked at Nova and raised her shoulders.
"Just leave him for a moment. He's been going through a lot of things at the moment."

The group continued walking north until they stopped at the edge of a forest. Ace looked around as the two girl slowly approached him.
He held up his fist as a sign to stop. "We are being watched." He said slowly as he grabbed his orb. Nova loaded the rifle and looked around as well. "What is it?" She asked carefully. Luna slowly walked until she stopped next to Ace. "Yeah I can feel it as well." She said as she grabbed her wand. Suddenly Ace pushed Luna away. "Watch out!" He said as he sends his orb in the other direction. Luna fell to the ground as Ace jumped over her. "Nova!" He screamed as he looked behind.
Nova aimed the rifle. "Bandersnatch!" She yelled back at Ace. Apparently she knew the creature. It was a large animal like creature with red eyes and white fur. It had large claws with long nails and sharp teeth. Luna quickly grabbed her bow and shot an arrow to it. The arrow broke on impact and the Bandersnatch screamed in anger. He ran towards Luna and attacked her with his claws. Ace parried the attack with his orb. "Shoot it!" He said to Nova.
She nodded and pulled the trigger. She nearly missed the creature and had to load a new bullet in the chamber. "Fuck!" She said as she dashed back. Ace attacked it again with his orb but quickly found out it didn't had any effect on it. Another bullet was shot but it was not from Nova. The bullet hit the Bandersnatch in its eye as it screamed, turned around and ran away in the forest.
"Jezus. You okay Luna?" Ace said as he helped her up. "I am fine thanks." She responded and looked at Nova. "You didn't shot that next bullet did you?"
"I... Did not." Nova said confused.

"I can't leave tour ass behind for a brief moment and you are involved in a fight with a fucking Bandersnatch.." A voice said from behind the tree. The person walked away from behind it as both Ace and Luna recognised the person. "Nats!" They both said as they rushed to her. Nova saw Nats and smiled. "Finally a familiar face." She said to herself.
"I managed to get the rift working again and when I ended up here I heard the scream of that thing." Nats said to Ace as she smiled. "Looked like I came in time right."
