[Mahram means a blood relationship that a girl/woman can show her face and get close to that man and even travel with him. Mahram is someone who is fully responsible to take care of the girl if her parents have died. She can't marry her mahram relations, which include her brother, chachu, mama. But mahram also means husband; it's after a marriage relation, meaning getting into a halal relationship in which the girl now belongs to the man — her husband, with whom she can do anything she wants without anyone stopping her.]

Shehnaaz sat on the bed, her back resting against the headboard as she cradled Saad, who was asleep. Siddharth lay on her lap, gazing at them with affection. Shehnaaz smiled at him, then carefully placed Saad on the bed, covering him with his small blanket.

Turning towards Siddharth, Shehnaaz noticed his hand near the zipper of her jacket, his eyes locked with hers. “Aap kya kar rahe ho?” she asked nervously.

“Do you trust me?” Siddharth asked, sitting up beside her. She nodded, and he slowly removed her jacket, revealing red marks and bites on her neck.

“Kitni jaldi thi galey padhne ki? Thoda aur ruk jaate, uska kaam khatam ho jaata!” Siddharth said, frustration evident in his voice as he got up to find an ointment.
