Agnetha & Björn - The Hospital

Agnetha was rushed into the hospital with an anxious Björn right beside her. The paramedics did everything they could to wake her, but she still wasn't responding. Björn was growing more and more worried by the minute, he should have checked on her, he began to blame himself as he waited in the waiting room while Agnetha was taken to a private room to be checked properly, the doctors were doing their best to figure out what was wrong.

Björn looked at his watch 12.07 PM, time seemed to pass so slow now, every minute away from Agnetha, seemed like hours, days, months, or years. Everything seemed to be happening in slow-motion as Björn not so patiently waited in the waiting room. He's been waiting for almost 30 minutes when suddenly the hell broke loose and the whole hospital was in chaos. As he was still in the emergency department of the hospital, he could see everything happening right before his eyes. Paramedics bringing in people after people it must have been at least 15 people that were rushed in and then 5 more, but for those 3 sadly there was no help anymore, it was simply too late.

He was glad Agnetha was already being checked, if they had arrived only half an hour later, who knows how long it would take for her to be treated. He cried, he couldn't imagine losing her, especially since he has just got her back.

Suddenly he could see a news broadcast appearing on the small hospital television, there was no noise but there were subtitles so he could follow. There has been a massive accident between 4 cars, 2 buses, a bike as well as 5 pedestrians. Five people were crossing the road on the crossroads when the two buses collided, the cars behind either of the buses didn't anticipate that and crashed right into the buses. Just down the road a cyclist was riding his bike in the middle of the road when an impatient driver tried to overtake him but didn't see the car driving on the opposite side of the road. The driver of the second car tried to prevent the crash but only managed to hit the cyclist instead. Not all the information was known yet, but it was reported that tragically the cyclist, 2 of the pedestrians and both bus drivers didn't survive the accidents and 5 more people were still in a critical state.

Björn turned his eyes away from the screen, it was such a horrendous accident and the day he had hoped for only turned darker and darker. He wished it was all just a nightmare but was soon forced to face the reality.

"Mr. Ulvaeus?" called the doctor. Björn turned towards the voice and stood rapidly. Doctor Larson approached him and introduced himself, "I'm Doctor Larson and I've been treating Miss Fältskog. She is doing fine and is awake. We still don't know what happened, Miss Fältskog is both physically and mentally well, but we will be keeping her in for observation at least for a night." Björn finally relaxed and was soon led to Agnetha's private room.

She was beautiful, laying peacefully in the bed looking out of the window. She seemed a bit dazed but otherwise fine. Björn knocked twice on the open door and entered. She looked up to him and smiled. He closed the distance siting on the bed planting a loving kiss on her lips. She was fine and they were together, he took her in his arms and held her close. Loving her with every bit of his hearth.

Agnetha looked up at him snuggling close. "I was so scared it was like I was there, but I couldn't do anything. I could hear everything, but I couldn't open my eyes and I couldn't respond. Something is happening that I can't control. I can almost feel that something big is coming." Björn just hugged her closer, savouring her scent kissing her all over.

The world as they know it is certainly soon going to change. Is it for better or for worse? Who knows? What is certain is that nothing will ever be the same.
