You're late

Björn smiled sheepishly and slowly walked through the entrance into the dining room where everyone was already sitting waiting for the food to be served. He tried his best to appear indifferent but he could still feel Agnetha glearing at his back while she followed him into the room.

Agnetha relaxed while she gleared at Björn's retreating form. Really she was just glad he made it home safetly. She hasn't heard from him in a while and knowing he had to take a plane realy made her anxious. She snaped herself out of her thoughts and followed him into the dining room.

Linda and Isabelle served lunch with Tilda's help, and everyone fell into relaxed chatter. The conversation seemed to flow naturally as everyone was talking about the last happenings in their lives. Agnetha and Björn stole glances at each other always making sure the other wouldn't see.

Agnetha was full of questions. She still didn't know the reasons for Björn's divorce, was it because of her or had their problems just piled up? She remembered the recording sessions for ABBA Voyage album.

All those stolen moments, all the fun they had. She remembered one particular moment; it was one late evening in July of 2020, and they just finished recording one of their new songs. Frida and Benny had already left, and it was just the two of them left in the studio. She was just about to leave when Björn called her back. He seemed distracted the whole day while they were recording, and she wondered what was going through his mind. She returned to the small kitchenet in the studio, Björn poured her a cup of coffee as she sat on the sofa opposite to him. There were no words exchanged and the silence grew. There was obvious tension between the two divorcees, all the time spent back together in the studio brought back lots of memories and old feelings that had been carefully buried deep inside their hearts. They stared into each other's eyes both feeling butterflies in their stomachs. The heat in their eyes grew and soon neither of them could hold back anymore Björn pulled her left hand and set her in his lap. His lips were on hers in no time as the kiss grew more passionate. After what seemed like an eternity Agnetha pulled back literally running from the studio, slamming the door. She ran to her car and quickly drove away making her way back to her home.

Agnetha was snaped back to reality by someone calling her name. She blushed furiously she looked at Linda and asked her to repeat her question. "What has gotten into you mama? You seem distracted." Agnetha blushed even harder, she could see Björn holding in his laughter, there was the spark in his eyes. "Nothing Linda, what did you want?" Linda signed; "We were thinking about going out for a walk, I just asked if you want to come too?" Agnetha shook her head; she really didn't feel like going. Everybody else got ready to go while Agnetha went back to the kitchen to wash the dishes. Björn stopped Linda at the door and told her he will stay with Agnetha.

Björn slowly closed the door behind his daughter and smiled. He walked back to the kitchen but stopped at the door and just watched Agnetha. She was just as beautiful as always. He thought back on all their shared memories and all the years spent apart. He regrated ever letting her go but at the time he was too proud to beg, too proud to admit he failed and that he was in the wrong. Now though he was older, much much older and he grew up. He missed her, he always did and maybe just maybe he was finally ready to admit it to her too. That kiss back in the studio brought back many buried feelings and he was finally ready to act on them. He divorced Lena, he knew he had no chance winning Anna back before the divorce was finalized. Now, the hardest part was just beginning. He needed Agnetha to be his again and he was hell bent on making sure she was.

Agnetha turned around sensing eyes on her. She saw Björn and suddenly felt the same pull that she felt that night at the studio. Something was guiding her, and she couldn't resist. Björn was still deep in thought when she closed the distance and planted her lips on his. The kiss grew deeper and the heat between them grew. Their tongues fought for dominance and danced a passionate dance. They only parted when the need for air became too much. He rested his forehead on hers while they caught their breaths. All other things abandoned they lips search for each other again and this time the kiss was even mor passionate. Agnetha put her legs around Björn and he caried her upstairs into her bedroom.

When the rest of the lot returned it was already 7.00 PM and Christian decided it was time for him and his family to go back to their house. Nike didn't like the idea at all, she clung to her grandmother's legs. Agnetha took her in her arms and promised her that she could see her tomorrow, but Nike was having none of that. She was ready to cry but Agnetha decided to intervene and give her son and his wife some peace. She asked Nike if she wanted to have a sleepover with her. The little girl instantly agreed and hugged her grandmother tightly. Christian and Isabelle left grateful for a night for themselves. Björn was going to stay with Agnetha for the night, sneaking in through the backdoor of her bedroom but now this didn't seem such a good idea. He was ready to leave when he saw her wink at him. That was enough for him to know that he was still welcome. After a wonderful dinner made by Linda, Björn bid goodbye to the family and left. He drove for a little bit so that his car was out of site and then quietly walked to the back of Agnetha's house, slowly up the stairs to the balcony of her bedroom. He opened the backdoor and smiled. She left it unlocked for him. He heard steps coming so he decided to hide in the ensuite bathroom.

It was 8.30 PM already and Agnetha decided it was time for her youngest granddaughter to go to bed. She climbed up the stairs carrying Nike. She opened the door of her bedroom and walked in. She took Nike into the bathroom for a bath and to get her ready for bed. When she opened the door, she nearly had a heart attack. But truly she was so surprised to see him in her bathroom that she was lucky he caught her before she fell. Nike squealed; she was happy that grandpa was there. They washed her up together and got her dressed and together they laid in bed with Nike between them. Björn put his arm around them and together they fell asleep wondering what the morning will bring.
