A Demon Slayer and His Demon Sister

Muichiro's POV

As I enter the master's mansion with y/n walking behind me I see a bleeding kid laying on the ground. There are some other Hashira here already but I notice the angry spiky one with no eyebrows is not here yet. There was one I did not recognize next to the lady with long hair and a butterfly haori, and the more I observe her the more I realize how similar the two are. "Y/n, who's that?" I whisper to y/n, as I point to the one I do not recognize. "That is Shinobu sama, Kanae sama's younger sister and tsuguko." Y/n whispered back. "Who's 'kanae'?" I tilt my head. "The flower pillar, she's the one with long hair and butterfly haori." Y/n responded pointing as she explained to me who each person was.

'I wonder why that kid is sleeping here.' As I line up next to the other Hashira I see the Kakushi guy starting to whack the kid on the head to wake him up. I stare at the sky for a while as I hear the other Hashira bickering about what to do with the kid or whatever.

'That cloud looks like a fish... I'm hungry.' I can feel someone staring at me. "Y/n what is it?" I turn and whisper in y/n's ear as I hear the Hashira continuing their bickering. 

Y/n jumped back a little in surprise. "Wha-" y/n tilted her head in what I guess was confusion. "I could feel you staring at me did you need something?" I whisper to her again. Y/n quickly waved her hands around and whispered "oh no sorry I didn't mean to I was just thinking-" 

Y/n's POV

I got cut off my sentence by a yelling Shinazugawa sama. I jumped a little in surprise as he started stabbing the box that seems to have a demon inside and yelling about how the injured demon slayer and the demon should both die. I see Kanae sama running over to Shinazugawa sama trying to calm him down.

I see the wind pillar's face calm down a little but he is still enraged by what is going on. I'm slightly confused about what is going on because I was a little distracted earlier...

"Hello my children." As the Master starts speaking, all the Hashira including me and Shinobu sama bowed down in sync. The master starts explaining to us the current situation. "Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko have gotten my blessing to both be part of the demon slayer corps. Giyuu and Urokodaki say they will both slit their stomachs open if Nezuko ever eats any human, and during the past 2 and a half years that Nezuko has been a demon, she has never eaten anyone." 

Shinazugawa sama looked like he was about to start yelling about killing the siblings again, Kanae sama stopped him and Shinobu sama was the one who spoke up first. 

"Master, we respect your decision but we need to see for ourselves to believe this." Shinobu sama stated with a smile, but I could tell the anger hidden deep in her voice. "Of course, feel free to use the shade in the house to see for yourselves." The master smiled.

Shinobu sama bowed as she carried the box that I assume Nezuko is in up inside the shade of the house, as she asked for a volunteer to let her borrow some blood that she can use to test Nezuko. Shinazugawa sama was fast to volunteer as he had an especially rare marechi blood type, which no demon can resist.

Shinobu sama gracefully hopped over to Shinazugawa sama as she took some blood from him with a syringe and then put that blood in a bowl that she left in front of the box with Nezuko inside.

I watched as the door to the box opened to reveal... THE MOST DARN CUTE THING I'VE EVER SEEN WHAT THE HECK

Muichiro's POV

I'm kind of paying attention to what's happening now because y/n started to lightly tug on my sleeve. When I looked over to her, her eyes were wide open as she leaned forward a bit fully invested in what was happening in front of her eyes.

I also decided to watch what was going on and there was the demon staring at the blood in the bowl placed in front of her. All the other Hashira watched her intently seeing what she would do (except for Himejima cuz you know... I guess he was sensing what was going on and relying on his hearing I guess). 

I watched slightly surprised as I saw the demon girl refuse to take the blood placed in front of her. 

Shinobu's POV

I gasp as I see the demon, Nezuko, refuse to take the blood. I release my clenched fists that I balled up out of anger at Giyuu for letting this demon live, but maybe, just maybe this one is different? 'The demons that killed my parents and almost killed nee san and I, they were cold and heartless. This demon girl though, I feel warmth in her eyes and she reminds me of the bond between Nee san and I, and the bond we have with the other girls.'

I watch as Nezuko chan climbed back into her box, annoyed, mostly likely because shinazugawa san stabbed her so many times. I look over to Giyuu who looks somewhat relieved. The master talked about how Tanjiro kun has encountered Muzan, and we were all really shocked. Nee san told the kakushi to bring Tanjiro kun and his sister back to our mansion to heal, since they were injured badly from a previous battle. Before being taken away though, Tanjiro kun demanded for the right to headbutt Shinazugawa san the same amount of times that he stabbed Nezuko chan.

I had to hold in a laugh as Tokito Kun, threw two tiny pebbles at Tanjiro kun's head, making him pass out. I personally wouldn't have minded if Tanjiro kun headbutt Shinazugawa san though, because I feel he's getting too close to née san... I want her to be happy but there's part of me that still needs time to get used to Shinazugawa san.

I glance over to see y/n chan holding onto Tokito kun's sleeve while trying to hold in a laugh. I'm glad to see that they have gotten closer. I havnt told y/n and Tokito kun yet, but I may have seen them once or twice laughing together when they were alone and training. Tokito kun remembers y/n, and I feel she will become an important existence to Tokito kun.

I run over to Giyuu after the master finished taking about some Hashira business that they all had to talk about today. "Giyuu! Oi Giyuu!" I whacked him on the shoulder. "What Shinobu." He glared at me as he rubbed where I slapped him. "Why didn't you tell me about the Kamado siblings?? Why did you agree to protect them?? Why?? Why risk it all for them??" I started aggressively questioning Giyuu as I tried to hold back tears.

The thought that if Nezuko chan drank the blood, that Giyuu would have cut his stomach and died, was to horrifying for me to imagine. Giyuu has been the friend that I have had for the longest time, and I can't imagine loosing him.

Giyuu must have sensed I was upset, so he pulled me into a hug and apologized, and told me that I will never loose him.

Muichiro's POV

As I stood up after the Hashira meeting was over I looked over to y/n who was still holding onto my sleeve. "Y/n why are you still holding my sleeve?" Y/n looked confused until she realized what she was holding onto the whole time. 

She quickly let go as her face turned slightly pink as she started to try and explain herself. "A-ah I'm sorry Tokito sama...!! I didn't realize- stupid arm- oh my good- I'm talking to myself at this point- I-I'm sorry!!" She quickly bowed a few times.

"It's fine." I turned around and started to leave the master's mansion. Y/n lightly jogged to catch up and she kept following behind me. I stopped walking causing y/n to run into me. "Oof- why did you stop?" Y/n questioned. I didn't respond because I didn't feel like it, and just dragged her over to stand next to me and started walking. 

After a few steps y/n slowly drifted back behind me again. I repeated what I just did, and moved her next to me then started walking. Again, y/n drifted behind me, and we kept repeating the process of me moving her next to me, and her just moving back to where she was before.

After going back and forth like this for a bit and started to get annoyed. "Y/n stop that." Y/n tilted her head to the side seeming confused by what I mean. "Walk next to me I'm bored. Stop going behind me."

Y/n's eyes opened wide in surprise after she heard what I said. She nodded and as I continued to walk she now walked next to me. 

I could see her play with her fingers as she walked, and I know I grew a few centimeters but y/n's that short compared to me?

It's kinda cute.
