Time Skip Almost a Year, A new mission

Y/n POV

Dear Diary,

I have been experimenting with breathing styles and I think I have figured it out. I talked to Tanjiro san and he taught me how he does "Water breathing fifth form, Blessed rain after the drought". I was recently able to figure it out. It is a mixture of mist breathing and flower breathing. I call it "Flower-Mist breathing, haze of falling petals" and I have not been able to test it on a real demon but I hope I can soon.

I don't feel afraid to kill demons now knowing that they will be able to have a happy death. 

ANYWAYS updates about LIFE.

1. I'm 16 now, and Muichiro is 17!! It's crazy!!

2. I had a growth spurt so now I'm 155 cm!! Everyone else also grew though so I'm still the shortest out of everyone. Even Shinobu is still taller than me but only by a little. Muichiro also grew and he's now around 173 cm tall. we have almost a 20 cm height difference!! I feel so short 

3. Shinazugawa sama proposed to Kanae sama! They are getting married next month and I'm super excited. Everyone at the flower mansion including me are going to be given roles and I'm super excited!! (It's not going to be a traditional Japanese wedding it's gonna be a modern-day type one)

4. I'm close friends with Mitsuri sama now!! She has a huge crush on Iguro sama~

5. I have been gossiping with Kanao and Aoi, Kanao has a huge crush on Tanjiro san and Aoi denies it but I can see she has a bug crush on Inosuke san

That's everything for now, and today Muichiro and I are going to train together so I need to go now!!

Muichiro POV

I sat outside as I waited for y/n. I got a bokken for my self and a shorter bokken for y/n because she uses a short sword. I saw her jump out to the backyard as she started yelling. "AHH!! Muichiro sorry to make you wait!! I just had to do something." She gave me a bright smile as she grabbed her short bokken.

Y/n's POV

We both got ready and got ready into fighting stances. We both nodded as we jumped at each other and attacked. Flower breathing fifth form, peonies of fluidity. I slashed at him nine times as he used mist breathing second form, eight-layered mist to counter every slash I sent his way. The ninth slash he dodged before slashing at me with the first form of mist breathing. 

I jumped out of the way and I swung my sword down towards Muichiro with the sixth form of mist breathing. He dodged every single slash and kicked me to the side as I landed on the ground.

We kept slashing at each other, both of us dodging and countering every single attack sent towards us from the other. Muichiro then did a vertical slash and I ducked down then used mist breathing fourth form, shifting flow slash. I dashed towards him and he blinked in surprise as I was right in front of him in a matter of seconds. I stood up and slightly jumped so I could get a bit taller as I aimed for Muichiro's shoulder.

As I was about to try an hit him, I felt a blush creep onto my cheeks as I realized how close the two of us were. He looked down on me slightly as he used his bokken to block mine and he hit my bokken away. I lost my grip making my bokken fly away. 

From surprise I tripped backwards, but before I could fall, Muichiro let go of his bokken as he grabbed a hold of one of my wrists and pulled me towards him and put his other hand on my back. 

From the force of him pulling me a stumbled and crashed into Muichiro. We both stumbled and Muichiro landed on his butt with me fallen on top of him. I kinda sat on his lap facing towards him and our faces were only a few cm away from each other.

Muichiro POV

Ouch my butt hurts. Y/n landed on top of me and she's kind of hugging me with her whole body weight resting on my upper body. I saw her face turn bright red, and I could feel my face warm up slightly. "A-ah s-s-sorry um a-am I heavy..." y/n stuttered. I shook my head. "No you're so tiny you barely weigh anything. Do you eat enough?" I pinched one of her cheeks. 

Her face turned even more red as she tried to look away from me. I feel like she gets sick really often. I leaned forward and touched our foreheads together as I tried to check her temperature. "Your face is really hot, are you okay?" I asked slightly concerned.

She leaned back a little trying to get away and put her hands on my torso to try and use me backwards a little.

"Yeah I'm fine... I'm fine... I'm fine." we both got silent for a bit and stared at each other. Y/n opened her mouth to try and speak before she got interrupted by a yelling guy entering my mansion. 

"MUICHIRO! Y/N!" The guy yelled as he walked into our backyard. He was a huge guy who had two big swords and had a shiny headband like thing and red make up around his eye. There were three people following him. There was one with a big forehead and a scar, I feel like I know him from somewhere, and a yellow one and one with a boar head. 

"HAHAHA looks like we walked in on the two of you doing something fLaMbOyAnT!" The guy laughed. "NO NO NO ITS A MISUNDERSTANDING-!" Y/n is basically a tomato at this point as she tried to get up. I helped push her up and I felt my cheeks slightly warm up. Am I also sick?

"What do you want." I flatly said. "I need to go on a mission but I need a girl! I already got these three boys that I will disguise as girls but I need one that is real too." The guy explained the whole mission to us and what y/n would have to do if she agrees to go on the mission. When the guy had his back turned, I quickly asked y/n who the four people were and she told me they were Uzui Tengen the Sound pillar, Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke.

That's why I recognize the guy with a big forehead. He's the one that's close to y/n. 

Y/n thought for a bit and told the Tengen guy that she wants to help look for his wives because they are always nice to her. 

'She's gonna be going on a mission with that Tanjiro guy. I don't like it.' "Tengen san." I suddenly spoke up. "I also want to go on the mission." The guy looked surprised but just replied with "Okay I can use the people. You should be easy to turn into a girl."

We went to a Wisteria Crest House to get ready and prepare for the mission. Tengen guy gave me and y/n some yukatas and a box of makeup and told us to get ready while he will try to disguise the other three as girls. "Y/n you know how to do make up right? Muichiro should be easy to disguise so I will leave him to you." He asked. "Yup! Leave it to me!" She gave a bright smile.

We moved to a separate room to get prepared. "Okay sooooo first we need to get changed." Y/n set the stuff she was holding down, and handed me the mint colored yukata that had some white clouds. She took the yukata that was (y/n's) f/c, with little mint flowers. 

We stared at each other for a bit unsure of what to do until y/n finally spoke up. "Ok so who's gonna change first...??" She asked. "You can go first." I replied. She nodded and as she took off her Haori and was about to unbutton her top, slightly embarrassed she motioned for me to turn around. 

I realized I was watching her the whole time and apologized and turned around so she could change. As I waited my mind wandered back to the events from earlier. I felt my face warm up again as I remembered how close y/n was to me.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around to see y/n who had her yukata on. She smiled and asked "How does it look?"

'She looks so beautiful in her yukata... I don't wana show her to anyone else and keep her to myself'
