Lunch

Y/n's POV

'Breath, normally, yes, calmly...' I'm nervous right now because Tokito sama just told me to walk next to him and I don't ever really walk next to someone. It sounds stupid but it's true. The only time I would walk next to anyone from the assassins village it would be before they would lecture me or scold me about something.

'What did I do wrong?' I started to think back throughout the day. 'Did he really not like that I held his sleeve? It was an accident I swear my stupid arm just did that-' 

"Y/n." I jumped as I heard Tokito sama start to speak. "Y-y-y-y-y-yes." I jumped. "Why are you so nervous?" Tokito sama bluntly asked. As we kept walking I tried to find the correct words, and the words my stupid mouth formed were "Am I in trouble?"

Muichiro POV

'Why is she asking if she's in trouble?' "Why?" I don't understand sometimes what y/n is saying. Y/n kept playing with her fingers as she slowly started to reply. "Well- usually for me if someone asks me to walk next to them, I'm usually in trouble...?" Y/n seemed unsure of what she herself was even saying. 

"No." I answered. "What?" Y/n seemed confused as she looked up towards my direction. "You're not in trouble. I want you walking next to me from now on." I looked down slightly so our eyes would meet. Y/n and I stared at each other as we stopped walking. 

I saw y/n's e/c eyes widen as she processed what she had just heard. She took a quick step forward as she got closer to me and kind of squeaked. "Really???" I nodded as y/n smiled brightly and jumped a little.

"Hehe let's keep going Tokito sama~ I'm kinda hungry, wana get some lunch before heading back to your house?" She energetically exclaimed.

"Sure. Can we get f/f?" I asked. Y/n looked even more overjoyed as she giggled "Yes!! That's my favorite food!!!" I smiled at her happy attitude. 'She really is a ball of sunshine that glows brighter and brighter at every small thing.'

'What were we doing before this? I can't remember...'

Y/n's POV

'I'm sooooo happpyyyyy ahhhhhh!!! Tokito sama says I can walk next to him and we are getting f/f!!!!! Eeeeeee im so exciteddd!' I did a few happy jumps as we kept walking. I looked up towards Tokito sama, and I saw he had a small smile on his face.

'Huh it's funny, he only smiles when we are together. I never see him smile when other people are around...'

We sat in silence after we ordered some f/f at a restaurant in a small town. I played with my fingers as we waited for the food. The silence we sat in was not awkward, it was more or less normal, as I was used to just sitting next to Tokito sama as he was deep in thought.

I decided today though, maybe I might do something a bit more fun. I got a hair tie as I started to braid my hair (you can decide if you wana do 1 big braid, pigtails or have a few or a lot of tiny braids). I worked swiftly and smiled proudly as I finished. 

"What are you doing?" I heard Tokito sama ask. I was a little surprised because he usually doesn't talk to me when we are sitting like this. "Oh I'm braiding my hair!!" I proudly show him the braid/braids I did. 

I watched him study the braid/braids I did and he leaned closer as he started touching my braid/braids. I felt a little embarrassed because this is the closest he has ever come to me. 

"They're interesting." He flatly said. I chuckled as he tried to figure out how I did it. "I can teach you how to braid hair, if you want." I offer.

"... I'd like that."

Muichiro POV

Just as y/n was about to teach me how to braid hair, the waiter came with our f/f. Y/n looked super excited as the waiter placed the f/f in front of her. She giggled as she turned to me. "I guess we will have to wait on the braiding lesson." 

I watched her as she happily took a big bite of her f/f. She put her hands on her cheeks as she squealed in delight. 

"You really like f/f don't you?" I said. Y/n turned to me as she started to exclaim, "yeah!! I havnt had it in so long, so im really happy!!" She gave me a big grin as she continued eating.
