Y/n POV
"Y/n, get back your hurt." Muichiro muttered to me as he protectively stood between me and the uppermoon 6. "No I'm fine, it's just a little cut... I can fight." I replied as calmly as I could. I felt like I would start crying from the pain in my arm. Before he could say anything else, the male demon used his demon blood art and threw two sickles at us and flung blood in our direction.
Muichiro swiftly pulled me to the side as we dodged the attacks, but like boomerangs they flew back at us. He cut the blood and I hit the sickles away. There was an eerie scent to the blood which I recognized as demon poison.
"Be careful, there's poison." I whispered to Muichiro as he nodded. "Sigh.... You two seem young.... And close.... Family? Dating?" The male demon snickered.
Muichiro and I didn't respond and glared at the demon. He laughed. "So pathetic, can't even keep up a simple conversation hahahaha."
Muichiro and I again did not respond and stood our ground preparing ourselves for another attack. The male demon sighed in boredom before he sent another attack flaring our way. My arm was bleeding a lot, and I didn't notice but I had a huge gash on the side of my lower stomach. I used my breathing to stop the bleeding but I already lost quite a bit of blood so I was starting to feel really out of it.
Muichiro and I swiftly dodged several attacks from both the male and female demons while we cut at them. Muichiro cut the female demon's head again, and she started screaming. "AHHHHHH ONI CHAN THEY CUT MY HEAD AGAINNNNNNNNNN!!!!"
"Daki be more careful, I don't want you to get hurt too badly." The male responded. She re connected her own head to her body. 'Why doesn't she die? Do both of their heads need to be cut off?' I wondered.
My thoughts were interrupted by a sudden explosion coming from behind the upper moon 6 demons. 'Tengen sama!' I realized. The demons protected themselves, but started attacking the three of us more aggressively and intensely.
The building we were in and the surrounding ones were destroyed and were crumbling down from the intense battle, and my injuries hurt more and more. I heard a sudden scream and cries of pain from outside the buildings, and I saw 4 girls huddled together as rubble was falling on top of them.
'They must have not been able to escape!! I need to help them!!' As we dodged another attack from the demons, I saw it started to fly towards the four girls, and without a moment to waste, I jumped out and cut the projectile in half, and protected the four girls.
"Hey are you guys alright? Here you need to run away right now. Run as fast as you can down this street and you should find other people who are also escaping the district. Things are about to get messy," I said gently.
"Mizuna can't walk!! Some wood fell on her leg and it's bleeding!! A lot!!" One of the girls sobbed. I saw the other two girls were shaking and trying to stop the bleeding from the mizuna girl's leg.
"Here I'm a doctor I can help. I have some medicine that should help with pain and bandages. I will get someone to help carry you away down the street, while your other three friends run with you." I squat down and started tending to the girl's leg.
I wasn't exactly a doctor but I felt it would be too complicated to explain to the girls about what I was so I just went with that. I wasn't sure who could carry Mizuna though, because I was too injured to carry her, and Tengen sama and Muichiro are busy fighting....
I saw a quick glimpse of blonde bands and a black pony tail in the corner of my eye, and I realized it was someone I knew...

It's crazy to me that there have been over 600 reads on this story omg I thought this would just be a tiny project and won't get much attention... I'm really thankful though and knowing that people have been reading my story has been keeping me motivated!!
