A Visit to Friends

Y/N's POV

I walked side by side with Tokito sama as we headed to the flower mansion. 'It's been a while since I have seen Kanao and Aoi, I'm so excited to see them! The last time I saw the two of them was a few months ago. I think if I go now, I will also be able to meet Nezuko chan and Tanjiro san too. I don't really wana meet Inosuke san and Zenitsu san though, I'm a little out of energy today.'

I started to hum in excitement as we walked to the flower mansion.

As I entered the mansion I squealed in excitement as I saw Kanao. I ran over and jumped on her as I gave her a big hug. Kanao caught me and returned the smile with a big hug. I looked up at her because of our huge hight difference as I exclaimed,

"Kanao!! I missed you so much!!!" Kanao, returning my excitement with a huge smile giggled. "Looks like you haven't grown any taller." I pretended to be offended by her words, then burst out giggling. When I looked into Kanao's eyes, I saw they were much brighter and contained more excitement. 

"You aren't gonna flip your coin?" I ask. Kanao smiled as she replied, "No. I learned from Tanjiro to start listening to the voice in my heart." I could faintly see her cheeks turn a pale pink as she mentioned Tanjiro san. She kept telling me about Tanjiro san as I asked her more questions about him.

Suddenly, Aoi came running towards us she crashed into our big hug. "Aoi!!" I gave her a big hug too. "What were the two of you talking about?" She asked as she giggled at my enthusiasm. "Kanao was telling me about Tanjiro san!"

Aoi smirked as she started talking about how Kanao would spend time trying to make a decision related to Tanjiro san, and before turning to her coin she would always stop herself because Tanjiro san told her she should listen to the voice in her heart. Kanao tried to shut Aoi up as she kept talking on and on.

I started laughing and I had to hold my stomach because it started to hurt from laughing too much. 

Muichiro POV

'She looks like she's having fun.' I blankly watch y/n and two other girls hug and talk to each other. I walk towards them as I tap a laughing y/n on her shoulder. 

"What are we doing here again?" y/n calmed herself down and told the two other girls she will be back once we visit... Kanana sama? Banae sama? Banana sama? I dunno. 

We started to walk down through the mansion with y/n leading the way because I have no idea where I am. As we walk down the hallway I sense the presence of someone approaching us. 

"Hey y/n!! Hello Tokito kun!" A boy will earrings and a slick back hairstyle walked towards us. I think y/n recognized him because she started smiling and waving. "Tanjiro san! It's been almost 7 months since we last met?" y/n walked up to the guy as she gave him a hug. It wasn't a tight hug like she did with the two other girls, it was more friendly.

"7 months seem to pass by so quick! What brings you to the flower mansion today?" The boy asked with a warm smile. "I'm accompanying Tokito sama because Kanae sama wanted to do a check up with him. Are your wounds healing up alright? I heard about the fight against the lower moon one and the upper moon three." y/n asked the boy with concern and worry in her voice. "Thanks to Rengoku san and the help of everyone else, my wounds aren't too bad. I got a deep stomach wound but with Shinobu san and Kanae san's help I'm healing quickly. I was also wondering if you mind going to meet Nezuko if you have any free time. She was really happy last time you two met and since she hasn't had many friends her age before..." y/n started glowing with happiness at the request. "Yes!! I was planning on visiting Nezuko chan today!! I also haven't had many friends my age before so I want to make sure our friendship bond stays strong together! Sorry to cut our conversation a little short, but I should start heading to Kanae sama now. See you later!" y/n waved as she started walking away. "Bye y/n chan!" he smiled back at her.

Some how, their interaction did not sit right with me and I started to feel a complicated feeling in my stomach. I clenched one of my fists as I started to drag y/n by the wrist after they said their goodbyes. I walked quickly down the hallway.

'I don't even know where I'm going. I just wana get away.' I kept walking as y/n stumbled and struggled to keep up with my fast pace walking. "Tokito sama? Tokito sama? Do you know where you are going? Tokito sama? Tokito sama? Tokito sama?" y/n started calling my name, but I kept dragging her until a woman much taller than me with long hair stopped us. 

"Ara ara, Tokito kun, where are you heading in such a rush? You should slow down, y/n chan seems like she's about to trip." 'Who is this lady?' I started at her blankly as y/n started to excitedly greet the lady. "Kanae sama!! I missed you so much!! Tokito sama, this is Kanae sama, the flower pillar. Do you remember her?" I shook my head as I continued to blankly stare at the lady y/n called "Kanae sama".

Kanae's POV

'Ara ara~ I wonder what happened to Tokito kun and y/n. Tokito kun rarely shows any emotion but I can tell he's slightly tense~. I heard Tanjiro kun and y/n chan talking earlier, maybe it's because of that. Hehe time for some investigation later~'

"Y/n chan! I see your height still is the same!" I giggle as she pouts. "I'm still waiting on my growth spirt. I'm only 13 you know!" Y/n is shorter by around 10 cm shorter compared to Tokito kun and Shinobu, and that's a lot considering how tiny the two of them are. Everyone else like Kanao and Aoi have grown so much taller than her. "You're almost 14 though, are you sure you will have a chance?" I jokingly ask y/n chan. "Just wait! You'll see!!" Y/n jokingly hits my arm as we both laugh.

I notice Tokito kun still hasn't let go of y/n chan's wrist. I walk into my office and I pull out two stools. "Tokito kun, Y/n chan come into my office and we will start the check up! Have a seat here." I smile as y/n chan thanks me and Tokito kun just stared at the ceiling.

We did a few memory tests together, and Tokito kun's results haven't changed from before. I saw his grip was looser but he was still holding y/n chan's wrist even though it has been 30 minutes. Maybe he forgot he was holding onto her. Y/n chan doesn't seem to mind and is more focused on watching Tokito kun do his tests.

We suddenly hear a knock on the door. "Hi~ Kanae?" I hear Misturi say. Mitsuri is in between me and Shinobu for age, and we both get along with her very well, but she hangs out with Shinobu more often. I'm glad Shinobu has friends. Mitsuri opened the door to my office and entered. "Kyaaaa~ y/n chaaan!! It's been so long since I last saw you! How long has it been? Almost a year?" She gave y/n chan a big hug, but she didn't fail to notice Tokito kun holding y/n's wrist.

We exchanged a glance at each other and we knew what we had to do.
