Aiden was telling me something. But I didn't hear him. I had my ear buds in my ear and was listening to Can't Stop Dancing by Becky G. It reminded me of partying in Mexico. Wouldn't that be fun? It would be better than partying in a forest. That reminded me of my friend Jenny going to Mexico and leaving my other friends and I for a week. That reminded me of my elementary school life, which I graduated and was now a freshmen in high school. Then, it reminded me of my normal life. Ugh. How I wish things could go back the way they were.

Tori's POV

Why is it that I keep seeing a white ghostly lady in my dreams? At first, she was just standing in the distance, staring. But now, I have even talked to her, and we had long talks about stuff we wouldn't normally talk about, such as what her personaility was like, and who her family was. All she responded was that Layla knew it all.

So you all know the routine now...and it's getting boring. All we did was wander the forest the past week and stayed at Honey's house for a solid day. It was nighttime for a reason though. If we went at day, we would be more noticable. Anyway, I bet you don't wanna hear about more forest crap, so to tell you faster, we made it out within a solid hour. We passed by a bridge with a river of water streaming under it, and 2 different pathways, but Aiden had been here before so he knew which one led to the right way.

"Jeez Laylerz....doesn't this place look a lot like the bridge area at the asylum we used to go to?" Tori said, still looking at the river as we crossed the bridge.

"Yeah, only that bridge had me at some stress moments. This one though....I feel more relaxed."

"Well duh, we were caged in a hell hole. Now, we're free!" Aiden said. He turned to glance at us, then turned back around sharply.

...Creak...

Oh god. Who knows what was about to happ--

Splash!!!

Me and Tori screamed loudly and Aiden swore like crazy as the bridge breaks a bit and we all fall into the little river. Great, now we are all soaking wet.

"Well we CAN dry up fast right? It's still summer...it should be cool and breezy enough to dry us!" Tori said.

"Nice logic...but we can't be wet on the bus...." Aiden said as he tried climbing up, grumbling to himself.

"But Tori's somewhat right...we can dry up fast...it's still July...and it's still dark out, which means we HAVE a lot of breeze to dry us."

So that's what we did. We took a little break to dry up, and in no time, we were dried up. Then, we exited the bridge area, and went onto the roads to the gas station. As we approached the Gas station, Tori began speaking.

"Hey....can we get any food for later here?"

"If we have enough money, then yes."

We entered the station and a middle aged man was at the counter selling a lotto ticket to an elderly man. We waited for our turn, and asked for a pack of student bus tickets. We didn't care if Tori was 13. She was still getting this ticket. Thank god gas stations here are open 24 hours. After getting our tickets and paying, we still had A LOT of money after. Like a good $65 in my bag, a good $45 in Tori's and $80 with a lot of loose change for Aiden. We were good to go.

It was 4:43 in the morning. This was the one moment I actually felt really tired. But not as tired as waking up for school. We waited for the actual bus times, Aiden was outside, right for when the bus came, while me and Tori were shopping for everything. Tori got herself a bottle of coke, a bag of all dressed chips for us to share, and 2 Hershey bars. Now what do I get?

"Hey, how about redbull?"

"Am I even old enough? Is there an age restriction?"

"Whatever, hey, why not get a sprite? You love those!"

She was right. In the end, I got a bottle of sprite, and a Twix chocolate bar. We were obviously still early for the bus, and the shopping trip was only like 15 minutes. In general, it was 5:21 by now. The bus started coming at 6.

As we waited, we talked a bit, and started eating and drinking our snacks, then we heard noises coming from behind us.

"Am I going insane or do I actually hear talking from behind us?" Tori said, quickly changing the subject of what we were previously talking about."

"Girl you is going insane....wanna check it out?"

"......ok.....Aiden me and Lala will be back in like 2 minutes."

Aiden only groaned. Then spoke up.

"Ok....but don't think I'm going to wait for you. The bus ain't coming in a while..."

Me and Tori went into the quiet forest area of where the noise was coming from and took small baby steps.

"Oh my gosh...why the hell does there have to be so many twigs and branches everywhere in every forest?"

"It IS a struggle, but it leads to the roads on the other side we need to get to...without getting caught!"

Ugh

Me and Tori literally stopped and turned in every direction. If my heart was beating fast like crazy, I bet Tori's was too. She literally grabbed me and we decided to keep on going, but literally staying beside each other.

"I don't like this layla...." Tori whimpered.

"Do you think I like it? No, but I'm only going because you keep hallucinating!"

I guess Tori took offense to that, because she started snapping at me and yelling swear words.

"Excuse me bitch, but don't say that I hallucinate alot, YOUR the one who keeps seeing some shadow ass hole or some shit like that."

"I never said that you hallucinate ALOT.....I only said it because your hallucinating right now! There IS no shadow dad, I bet he's fake, and that we're going insane!"

".......did you just say shadow DAD?"

Crap. I forgot I wasn't suppose to say anything about that.

"Sorry, I meant shadow MAN."

"Good, cause that fake ass isn't apart of our family, and sadly you are." Tori snarled at me.

Now it was my turn to get mad at her.

"Oh is that so? OK then, you find your way out of this hell hole you call "home" and I'm going back to Aiden, who's WAY LESS of a bossy little brat like you!"

"Fine bitch, I don't give a damn, go, get lost!"

I turned around sharply and left. I guess I was just mad that I was tired. What were we exactly fighting over? All I could do was think about all this and---
