A/N: so sorry for the late update, A-Levels have been killing me and my home country (Pakistan) went to war for like a week (thanks for that India [note my sarcasm]). I hope India doesn't attack again, bcs that was honestly horrendous and tbh I'm supposed to go back and visit after exams. I hope everyone from Pakistan and India are safe and unharmed after the whole situation. There might be another delay after this, but I'm not sure since I have to focus on exams and protesting, lol. xx

"YOU LEFT HIM?" Alice seethed as she lowered herself through the hatch.
"Flo needed one person to stay," Lockwood explained.
Alice sighed as they grabbed their kit. She grabbed her belt, wrapping it around her dress and strapping her rapier and knife to it. Beside the flares on her belt, she also had a small vial of sage.
Lockwood went to open the door, but it clanged.
Locked.
Alice had the horrible feeling that it was made of iron, and there was no way that she could magic it open.
"And it's locked," Lockwood sighed.
But then, from behind the locked door, they heard voices.
"Bring that one. Hurry up!"
"Drag it. That one as well!"
The three of them exchanged a terrified look.
They grabbed their kit, running behind a pillar and some barrells, and hiding. Lockwood pressed himself to the pillar. Lucy hid behind the barrells, and Alice kneeled in front of Lockwood.
He looked down at her, eyes wide as the door opened. "Turn around, turn around, turn around," he whispered, eyes closed as he begged her.
Lucy rolled her eyes and hissed in a low whisper, "This is not the time for you to be thinking of her sucking you off."
"Shut up," Lockwood mouthed.
Either way, Alice turned away from him, quickly grabbing her rapier and hiding it from view.
Several men began to lug what sounded like barrells into the room.
"Shit. The hatch is unlocked."
"If Julius sees this," another man warned. He swore under his breath.
A man groaned as he moved a barrell, coughing loudly.
"Let's get the other one."
"Just... just give me a sec," the man begged between coughing fits.
They listened as everything went silent, and then the door shut.
"On the other side of that door is about 30 blokes who will kill you."
Alice and Lucy both glanced at Lockwood, eyes wide.
"Three sets of footprints. And I caught a glimpse of a rapier back there. You got three seconds to come out," the man warned.
Lockwood nodded.
Lucy sighed in defeat.
They all stood and walked out of their hiding places, hands on their rapiers.
