Cameron's POV

I'm spending the rest of my life with Aaron, I don't care about what else happens anymore. He is the most amazing person I've ever met and I love him so much. I think he loves me too, but there's kind of no way to really tell. I like just hanging out at his house after school because everyone that's coming around to his house, like Devin, knows about us, and I'm fine with that now. I think me and Aaron will go public to the rest of the team soon enough.

I turn over onto my side so I can face my sleeping boyfriend. His mouth is slightly ajar, and his breathing is heavy. He looks so peaceful. I want to just hold him in my arms forever and never let him go.

I give him a soft kiss on the forehead, and pull him closer to me. I put my head in the crook of his neck, resting there while I wait for Aaron to wake up.

Eventually he does wake up.

"What day is it?" he questions.

"It's Friday. Our first playoff game is today, you ready babe?"

"Yeah. I'm ready. Are you ready though?"

"Yeah of course I am. What kind of questions is that?" I grin at him and give him a bunch of kisses on the neck.

"So should we get up?" he asks, stretching his arms and legs out.

"Yeah, I guess we should," I frown, but get up anyway, pulling Aaron up with me.

The two of us shower separately, which is not normal for the two of us, but we just both agreed that showering together might lead to some thing that might affect the way we play tonight, such as severe limping and soreness. We just didn't want that.

"Let's go get breakfast," Aaron says, grabbing my hand and pulling me off of his bed.

"Okay."

The two of us go downstairs and outside of Aaron's room is cold for some reason. I guess his mom is finally allowing air conditioning to be used in the house, because usually it's hot as fuck.

"I'm gonna go to therapy tomorrow," I state.

"Am I really making you feel that bad?" he jokes, wrapping his arms around me.

"No. It's just been a while."

"Good. Just tell me if I ever make you feel bad, okay?"

"Yup," I kiss him softly.

"Great."

"Do you wanna go out for lunch today?" I ask him, putting an arm around him.

"Sure. Where do you wanna go?"

"I was thinking somewhere nice. You're letting me live with you, it's the least I can do," I state.

"That would be great, but really, you're letting yourself live with me. You've been great to have around, and I'm so glad you're living with me now. This is just a preview of us living together in UCLA next year."

"I'm excited for that, babe. We'll be the best quarterback-runningback duo in college," I say.

"Damn right we will," he pulls me close to him, kissing my cheek.

"You're the best, babe."

"That's all you Cam," he fires back, hugging me again.

"I'm so glad you found me that night. I can't thank you enough, I know it was a while ago, but that was one of the most amazing things anyone has ever done for me, and that night, I said I needed time, but I knew eventually we would be together, and now we're together, and I've quite literally never been happier. You're the best."
