Author's Note: Have you every been to the canary islands? I swear the best weather is Dec/ Jan! What are your guy's thoughts on the story, think they're finally gonna ask to meet in person , or stay in their comfort zones a bit longer? How do you think they'll meet in person again?

As Florence packed her bags for a much-needed getaway to Gran Canaria, she couldn't shake the mixture of excitement and relief coursing through her veins. The timing couldn't have been more perfect. After the emotional rollercoaster of resigning from her job and the anticipation of upcoming interviews, a few days of relaxation with her friends for a hen do was just what she needed. With her suitcase neatly packed and her passport safely tucked away, she did a final packing check ensuring she had everything she needed for a few days of sun, sea, and celebration with her closest friends before heading to the airport.

Her and her friends relaxed on the plane ride there, and as soon as the airplane touched ground she turned on her local eSim to send a quick message to Lando.

Fleur: Heading off for Belle's hen do in the Canary Islands! 🎉 Need a break after quitting my job.

As she got to her hotel she took and sent him a photo of the pristine beach she'd be lounging on for the next few days—a stretch of golden sand lapped by crystal-clear waters.

It wasn't until she was already relaxing in her villa that she finally got a message back. As the sun dipped low on the horizon, casting a golden glow over the villa's terrace, Florence heard a ping on her phone.

Lando: So how's paradise treating you?

Fleur: It's quite amazing. The weather is perfect, the beach is beautiful, and the cocktails are dangerously delicious. How's the ski trip going?

Lando: Sounds like you're having a blast! The ski trip is epic, fresh powder every day and the slopes are unreal. Wish you were here to join me!

Fleur: Haha, I'll trade you a palm tree for a snow-capped mountain any day! But seriously, glad you're enjoying it. Got any crazy ski stories yet?

Lando: My friend Charles almost wiped out trying to impress some Swiss snow bunnies, while I slid through, managing to style it out like a pro 😉

Fleur: Classic! I can just imagine you carving up the mountainside. But be careful, wouldn't want you breaking any bones!

Lando: Don't worry, I'm a pro at staying in one piece 😉 So how's that book going that Piper got you?

Fleur: Oh I finished it within a week, I was hooked. I just can't put a good book down once I start.

Lando: Whats it called, what is it about? I wanna know more about something that's got you so excited.

Fleur: haha I could go on for ages.

Lando : Please do 😌

Fleur: It's on you then! It's called "The Midnight Library" by Matt Haig. It's about this woman named Nora who gets to explore different versions of her life through a magical library that appears at midnight. Each book in the library represents a different choice she could have made, and she gets to experience those alternate realities firsthand. It's such a thought-provoking concept.

Lando: So, she basically gets to see what could have been if she had made different choices?

Fleur: Exactly! It's like a journey of self-discovery for Nora as she navigates through these different lives and tries to figure out what truly makes her happy. The book raises some profound questions about regret, second chances, and the nature of happiness.
