After the Miami Grand Prix, Lando asked Florence to join him in Monaco. Her and Piper were meant to be coming to Monaco anyway for the plans she had made with Charles. The following weekend. They had planned to tour the galleries on Saturday, and have a relaxing day exploring Monaco on Sunday. The timing had worked out perfectly as they had been invited to a party in Monaco Saturday evening.

So Lando and Florence found themselves in the comfort of his Monaco apartment. The excitement of the Miami race still lingered, but now it was time for a few quieter days before Piper arrived and Florence stayed at Charles' place for a gallery day with him and Kelly over the weekend.

The days leading up to the weekend were some of the happiest Lando had experienced in a long while. Florence's presence turned his apartment into a cosy haven, their shared moments blending seamlessly between work and play.

Florence had to spend some time working, but Lando made sure those hours were anything but ordinary.

On the first morning, Florence set up her laptop on the kitchen table, turning on the virtual background in the call, ready for a video meeting with her team. She glanced over at Lando, who was lounging on the couch with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Behave," she warned, narrowing her eyes playfully at him.

"Me? I'm the picture of innocence," he replied, feigning an offended look.Florence rolled her eyes with a smile and clicked into her meeting.

She was intently discussing a new marketing strategy when she sensed Lando's presence in front of her, on the other side of the kitchen island, right behind her laptop, out of the camera's view. He began scribbling messages on sticky notes and placing them where only she could see.

"Did you know you're the prettiest girl in this meeting?" one read. Another said, "Nice shirt. Very professional."

Florence bit her lip to stifle a giggle, her eyes fixed to her screen. She reached her arm across to give him a playful shove. "Yes, that sounds good, Julia. We'll need to finalise the creative by Thursday, so just email those across to me for approval as soon as you can," she said, her voice steady despite the laughter threatening to bubble up.

As the meeting dragged on, Lando came across to her side of the island and sat on the barstool beside her, making sure to keep out of the camera's view. With his chin resting on one hand, he reached under the counter to her legs and slowly began tracing circles on her knees, causing Florence's breathing to get heavier. Smirking, Lando slowly began to trace his finger higher, higher, and higher on her leg.

"Sorry, can you repeat that?" she said to her team, trying to keep her focus despite Lando's teasing.

"Everything okay, Florence?" asked Jen, raising an eyebrow.

"Uh, yes, just... my cat is being silly," she lied, shooting Lando a playful glare.

He clapped a hand over his mouth to stifle his laughter and retreated back to the couch. Once her meeting was over, Florence closed her laptop and walked over to Lando with a grin.

"You're impossible, you know that?" she said, shaking her head.

"And you love it," he retorted, pulling her onto the couch with him and giving her a kiss.

Florence put her legs around him, taking off her top. She pulled him up and deepened their kiss, running her hands through his hair. They enjoyed each other for the next few hours, moving from the couch to his bed.

They spent the rest of the day cocooned in their own little world. They cooked meals together, Florence teaching Lando how to make homemade pasta. They watched movies, snuggled under a blanket, and shared stories from their pasts. Every moment was a blend of comfort and excitement, their connection deepening with each passing hour.
