On the previous chapter...

"He has been spotted in his old neighborhood. He kept an eye out for Yaqueline, he has been watching her for months, years. He knew about the marriage before Yaqueline even knew about it. Tomorrow we will make sure to end it and this time without a truce". I speak.

"What's his name?" Yaqueline asks.

"Valerio Marino". I reply.

"I don't understand. He said that he'll leave you alone". Seraphina looks confused.

"He was, he didn't keep his word and you know what we do to those people". I say.

Cecelia claps her hands. "We are killing him".

"Who is coming with us?" Chrysanthe asks.

Chrysanthe is always laid back and asks the questions that are relevant, useful. Unlike Cecelia she doesn't throw any unnecessary comments.

But Cecelia is braver. If you ask her to jump off a bridge for a mission, she will do it in a heartbeat.

One thrives off of adrenaline and the other one off knowledge.

Both are very much needed.

"The people in this room and Fiorenzo". I reply.

"Don't we need more then that?" She asks.
I shake my head. "You will see tomorrow. The less the better".

"But what is the actually plan?" Yaqueline asks.

I get up and straighten my suit.

"We are just scaring him tomorrow".

ʚ YAQUELINE'S POV ɞ

Federico made sure that we all got up at 7 am in the morning.

He let the fire alarm go off for half an hour.

He is so dramatic. It's not normal. He stopped it till every single thing that breathed came downstairs.

Then he told us to get ready and head to the gym. After some complains he almost killed us and send us back to our rooms.

He sure knows how to get stuff done through his way.
"Are the Mancini's always this dramatic?" Seth sits down next to me.

Oh I forgot, since the two mafias are an alliance, some of my fathers men work for the Italians too. So Seth didn't really have a choice but Jacques did. Since Seth joined, he wanted to join too.

"This is only the beginning". Fiorenzo enters the room.

We are waiting for some men so that we can leave.

"At least he is the decent one". Jacques mutters.
"I heard that". Seraphina looks up from her phone.

"Good". He replies.

Seth nudges Jacques. "He was just joking Sera, you are the decent one".

Seraphina ignores him and looks back at her phone. Since the wedding Seth has been trying to get closer to Seraphina. I don't know if he likes her or is just trying to get information out of her, but it's been bugging Seraphina a lot.
