LOCATION: Raccoon City Coach StationThe Coach that dropped Natasha Romanoff in Raccoon City had been mostly empty- save for herself and four others that thankfully paid her no attention.
Giving the horrific murders that the City had been plagued with for the last three months she wasn't expecting the tourism season to be bustling in the American City, in fact more people seemed to be leaving than arriving.
As Natasha leapt of the coach she covered her eyes from the mid-day sun that glared down at her, In her oversized hoodie she was unrecognisable as the Avenger better known as the Black Widow 'Funny how when the suit was gone no one ever gave her a second glance' a good thing in this case-
NO ONE could know that the Black Widow was in Raccoon City, she had a mission to complete and Umbrella couldn't know that she was coming for them- the pharmaceutical practically owned this city 'As stated in the reports' thankfully Natasha Romanoff was accustomed to undercover work and no stranger to working in the morally grey area that her team mates preferred to avoid.
She checked her mobile- the Avengers should have made it to Wakanda by now it was a shame she was going to have to miss T'Challa's kind invitation.
Most of the world would be watching as Wakanda signed a deal with the Avengers allowing the heroes to operate within the country 'under the supervision of T'Challa of course'
Steve reminded her that it was a vital step in their Avengers expansion plans- so they would be able to be were they're needed at a moments notice-
Of course she understood the importance, but politics wasn't exactly her scene and besides from the reports she'd been given it seemed like there was far too much excitement going on in Raccoon City for her to not investigate.
Natasha went to the arrivals lounge and she spots who she was looking for immediately,
Mason sends a small wave at her- she hoped he got all her gear into Raccoon City without too much trouble, her 'procurer man' smiled as she approached-
She knew that he had a huge crush on her, sometimes she suspected that his feelings for her were the only thing that kept him responding to her calls- she knew she was much more trouble than she was worth money wise.
"Welcome to Raccoon City" he briefly acknowledged her disguise, she was clearly looking to keep a low profile in travelling in the City- from the rumours he'd heard he wasn't really sure he wanted to know why.
"Thanks for meeting me at such a quick notice" she smirked at him, Mason shrugged- out of all of his clients Natasha Romanoff was the one that kept him the most busy.
"Can I get you a coffee?" he asked her as they exit the unnervingly quiet arrivals lounge.
Natasha laughed "No- but you can take my bag" she threw the bag to him, it was heavier than Mason expected, he undid the zip and caught a glimpse of what was inside, money and a lot of it
"I believe that should cover my bill" she smirked- money wasn't something that bothered her a lot, in her business she wasn't hard up for cash,
"Very well, follow me" he was kind of disappointed that she wasn't willing to participate in a bit of back and forth harmless flirting for a while- but he always respected his business, especially with her.
She follows Mason into the car park and to a parked black Corvette Stingray- she immediately caught the keys that he threw to her.
"Your items are in the back" he told her, Natasha pressed the fob to unlock the car whilst Mason opened the trunk,
"Are you going to war or something?" Mason asked her as she went about verifying that everything was there-
A heavy combat version of her Black Widow suit, the (Tony Stark) updated Stingers, two Glock26's- her M249 SAW assault rifle- lots ammunition boxes for both weapons, multiple grenades and explosives, a collection of knives and two stun batons that can also be fixed to make a bow staff.
Everything looked in order to what she'd requested "Thanks" she smirked, but Mason couldn't help but notice that she didn't answer his question-
He'd been flummoxed when Natasha had asked him to quickly meet her in Raccoon City with enough artillery to supply a small army
"You didn't answer my question, what's up?" he asked- Natasha shrugged as she closed the trunk,
"I don't pay you to ask questions" Mason laughed, he'd been expecting such a response every time he felt like they had a connection she pushed him further away- but truthfully he worried about her.
"Its funny- people seem to be falling over themselves to get out of Raccoon City at the moment, there were rumours of monsters tearing people apart in the streets and something about cannibalistic murders, sounds like fun doesn't it?"
If Mason recalled the news correctly the term 'Zombies' had been used which he had originally laughed off as insane- but with the way Natasha was gearing up, now he wasn't so sure
"Can't be too safe" she smirked- she wanted him to leave, to get out of this city as quick as he could,
"You know you're not as secretive as you think you are- you're going after Umbrella" her smile dropped- with everything on the News recently she realised that she shouldn't be surprised that he'd guessed her intentions in the City that was the home base of the Umbrella Corporation.
"No one else can know that I'm in Raccoon City" it was the whole reason she'd called him in the first place- no one else could get all this heavy weaponry into Raccoon City without any questions.
Natasha watched as Mason pulled out an envelope "That's why Natasha Romanoff isn't in Raccoon City- but Fanny Longbottom is" he grinned as he handed her the ID cards he'd created for her, Natasha rolled her eyes
"Come on Mason- Grow up!" she pulled out the Driving Licence and Passport with her face and the ridiculous made up name on them
"Is it true what some folks are saying about Umbrella creating monsters?" he doubted that the rest of the Avengers would be following Natasha to Raccoon City if she was relying on him for her gear and that worried him, after all she was his favourite customer.
"Want some friendly advice Mason- Leave. Get out of Raccoon City as quickly as you can and don't look back" she finished her warning with a terrifying smile- he realised that she was being serious.
He held open the car door for her as she slid into the sleek leather material, he hoped that this time she wouldn't wreck this car, they were expensive.
"There's a motel situated on Faust Avenue- where there's a room indefinitely booked in Fanny's name for as long as you need it"
Natasha started up the car and revved the engine with a satisfying growl "Thank you, if- if you don't hear from me for a while you know what to do"
Mason felt his heart sink in his chest- they had an agreement about her affairs, if there was any strong doubt that something very bad had happened to her, he never wanted to pull on that thread.
"Please be careful- whatever you're getting yourself mixed in is dangerous- I can't loose my best customer" Mason grinned,
Natasha winked at him as she pushed down on the accelerator and raced off down the street, Mason shrugged- he wasn't going to bother to stick around, he had other business that he needed to attend to, he wished her luck he had a feeling that she was going to need it.
