Screens around the world changed to an emergency broadcast. They saw a mouse man first, then a purple light covered the camera before they heard a feminine voice say "Okay, universal translations are active."

"Wonderful!" Spoke a more chipper voice. "We are connected to the cameras now."

"Thank you Nezu. Hello world! My name is Geminitay but you can call me Gem. I do apologise for taking your time, but this is a dire situation. This threat is worldwide. I have called code Xornoth. You may be wondering what code Xornoth is and why you haven't heard of it. Nezu and I created it and we didn't tell anyone! Maybe not the best decision on our part, but what's done is done. There are live comments enabled on this livestream so you can ask questions. You will all be marked as anonymous since there are no accounts. Now then. Let's get into this little conference." Gem introduced.

Gem: Let's start with me. I am not from here. I am from another world. A web of worlds actually. Where I'm from we don't have quirks, but we have magic. I rule an empire called the Crystal Cliffs as the head wizard, and I teach the Crystal Cliffs Academy- a school to teach upcoming wizards. Xornoth is also from my world. He used to be a normal elf, brother to my friend Scott, but the god Exor corrupted him when he claimed him as his champion. I thought we had sealed Xornoth in a crystal, but it turns out we did the spell wrong and brought him here instead. He is a demon. A very dangerous one. He will try and control you with his red crystals. I don't care how much they call to you, do not touch them. Xornoth is smart, strong, and patient. He knows who to manipulate, maim, kill, et cetera and how. He wants to control quirks and merge this world with mine. It would most likely end up destroying both realities. I am now opening this up to questions.

Student: How did you get here?

Gem: I was using magic to make cake and my brother distracted me, messing up the spell and making a portal, which I then fell through.

Anonymous: How do we know you're telling the truth?

Gem: You don't. I can't make you trust or believe me. I can't guarantee you any solid evidence of my claims, but I can tell you that I will do my best to protect this world.

Anonymous: So you brought this guy here?

Gem: Yes. Sadly I did. I didn't mean to, but the spell was apparently done wrong somehow and he ended up here instead of in the crystal.

Student: What's your world like?

Gem: I'm not sure how to answer that.

Mina: You told us in class that your empire was quieter than the Grimlands? What is that?

Gem: That's my brother's empire! It's full of various contraptions and machinery. They like experimenting with redstone so there's a lot of explosions.

Hagakure: What's your brother's name?

Gem: His name is fWhip! Count fWhip of the Grimlands. We're twins, but I'm a few minutes older.

Gem winks at the crowd.

Anonymous: If you don't have a quirk, why do you have antlers?

Gem: I'm a hybrid! I'm part deer, part elf, a little bit dragon, and I have some human ancestry and distant spirit ancestry.

Aizawa: why do you have so many animals?

Gem: Oh that's a good one. I like to get pets in all the worlds I go to. I bond with all of them, making them my familiars. It lets me summon them a lot easier.

Anonymous: Can we see one of your familiars?

Gem: Sure! 𝕱𝖗𝖎𝖊𝖓𝖉 𝖓𝖔𝖙 𝖋𝖔𝖊, 𝖈𝖔𝖒𝖕𝖆𝖓𝖎𝖔𝖓 𝖔𝖋 𝖒𝖎𝖓𝖊, 𝖍𝖊𝖊𝖉 𝖒𝖞 𝖈𝖆𝖑𝖑 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖇𝖊 𝖆𝖙 𝖒𝖞 𝖘𝖎𝖉𝖊!

Gem's eyes and staff glow and a cyan parrot appears.

Gem: This is Lucy.

Lucy: Where. Am? Not. Home.

Gem: Do you wanna go back home? I can send you back.

Lucy: What. Do. Here?

Gem: Well there's an evil demon on the loose.

Lucy: Stay.

Gem: Okay then.

Lucy flies over to the chair Kouda's sitting in and perches on it.

Anonymous: How did you do that magic at the beginning?

Gem: I'm afraid I'm not quite sure what you mean by that.

Anonymous: The kinds of magic you used.

Gem: ... how?... I don't understand.

Anonymous: You used magic mortals can't.

Gem: ... Well I am from a different world... I'm sorry did you say... Mortals?

Anonymous: You are not a normal player are you?

Gem: ... And you're not a normal civilian.

Anonymous: What are you exactly, wizard?

Gem: And why would I tell you, Xornoth?

The room went still. Gem sent a spark of magic to the computer, giving Xornoth a username.

Xornoth: How ironic. The great wizard, a watcher!

Gem: That one was obvious.

Xornoth: A traveler too, I assume?

Gem: Again, obvious.

Xornoth: It's funny. We have more in common than I thought. How hypocritical of you. Watchers are just as bad as I am.

Gem: Not all watchers wanted to be watchers.

Xornoth: I wonder how your brother would react? Finding out he let a watcher into Empires. Finding out his sister is one of the monsters destroying worlds.

Gem: I AM NOT ONE OF THEM! Watchers can run away! How do you think ̇/ᒷꖎᑑ⚍ᔑ went missing?

Xornoth: Ooo touchy subject. Seems I hit a nerve. I suppose it makes sense that you ran, after all... That's all travelers are good at.

Gem: Heh... Us travelers don't let much get out about us. If we did we'd surely be dragged into the conflict, thrown under the bus by others. Perhaps I should show you why.

Xornoth: Is that a threat?

Gem: Why yes. Yes it is. Maybe if I go all out you can figure out what else I am.

Gem smirks.

Xornoth: Just how many different kinds of magic did you put together?

Gem: That's none of your business. Just know... I am far more powerful than I let on. I think this conference is over.

Nezu: Hm... I suppose so. If anyone has any remaining questions, there will be a Q&A page on UA's website, which Gem has enchanted to universally translate it. That is all.
