The girls get out onto the field and wait for the boys. They see Bakugou has finished getting ready as he carries Mineta like a dirty diaper, tossing him over to Aizawa.
"Final warning, grape shit." Bakugou looks at Aizawa who nods. "On second thought, you already used that."
"Mineta. While your quirk could very well be helpful, you are lacking in everything else. You cannot be a hero with this behavior. We have given you chances, but you have run out. Pack your things. You're expelled." Aizawa commands.
Mineta... Smiles? "Thank you..."
"The hell you saying thank you for, grape?" Bakugou sneers.
"You have no idea... Let me know when you defeat the villains... That's when I can explain." Mineta leaves.
"Woah, what was that about?" Mina asks.
"No clue..." Aizawa mutters.
Jirou jumps in surprise as she hears something. "What..." she turns around to see Mineta looking back at her with a smile. He whispers something and she nods, a soft smile on her face, and a look of newfound determination. Mineta turns around and leaves to get his things and go home.
Soon enough, the rest of the class files in and Aizawa tells them that Mineta has been expelled. He left out the part where he said thank you. One by one, the students say their names and quirks, giving a brief demonstration of what they can do with them. Gem quickly takes note of everything in her grimoire and writes down some ideas of improvements, enhancements, uses, etcetera. Aizawa looks over her shoulder and sees the ideas and seems to like them.
"Hm. Good ideas."
"Oh! Thank you Aizawa!" Gem replies. Suddenly, some of the students scream. Gem and Aizawa turn around and see Blue bounding over. "Blue! What is it, boy?" Gem looks at the bear who seems frantic. She nods and suddenly gasps. "What!? Take me there." She hops onto Blues back and rides him to the gate, where some visitors await them. Gem hops off of Blue, yelling "Hey! Leave him alone!"
The scene before Gem is Mineta with his bags, and a menacing figure standing above him. Mineta looks terrified.
"Stay out of this, girl!" The figure commands, but Gem holds strong.
"I-I'm sorry! I-I didn't ask to be e-expelled! I-it's because I'm s-so short! I-I can't run f-fast enough!" Mineta stammers, clearly terrified.
"Excuses. You have failed us."
"Hey! I said, get away from him!" Gem sends out a burst of magical energy, pushing the figure back as she runs over to Mineta. "Hey! Are you okay?" She asks the boy, concerned.
"I-I'm fine... Th-thanks to y-you..." Mineta stammers out a reply, terrified.
"That's good, but-" Gem is interrupted by an enraged yell.
"I told you to stay out of this!" The figure from before yells, bursting with rage. "I warned you..." At this, Mineta flinches and tells Gem not to engage in a terrified voice.
"H-he'll kill you! J-just leave me be! I'm not worth it!"
"No. You are worth it to me." Gem states calmly, with no room for arguments. "What can this guy do?" Gem asks Mineta for information on her opponent.
"Uh... I-I don't know!"
"Hm. Well then... Looks like this'll be a bit more of a pain than I'd hoped." Gem says blankly, her eyes and staff starting to glow a very faint hue.
