Elena was sitting in the living room with Hayley. She had wanted to take the time to talk to her. She couldn't let her be scared of her forever after all. "So did he get the chance to tell you more?"

"A little." Hayley shrugged but she knew it was going to take some time for her to adjust completely to doing this, 

"We meant it you are a part of the family now." And Elena was sticking with it she wanted Hayley to feel welcome here. And she knew that she hadn't been the best of it so far.

"You guys have a crazy family." Hayley admitted. She wasn't sure how they all got along half of the time with the things she had seen. 

"Oh yeah i know better than almost everyone." She knew how ridiculous family but they were a  family and they loved each other,

"So are you excited." Hayley asked. She had heard Elena had been the one who wanted a child.

Elena nodded this was what she had always wanted and now she was getting it. "Yeah you."

"A little nervous i never wanted to be a mother. I was adopted." Hayley was scared that she wasn't going to be a good mother. She wasn't even sure that she knew how to be. 

"Aww. I always wanted to be a mother spent centuries trying to make the spell." And now she was getting what she always wished for. She was pregnant and about to finally get to- be a mother. "And when i did-"

Hayley cut her off she had heard what happened. Klaus had messed it up daggered Kol and then she had miscarried. "Klaus intervened."

Elena sighed thinking back at everything she felt bad for blaming him for everything. "He didn't know and as much as i wanted to continue to blame my brother for that i know that i can't."

"Fair enough."

"Yeah if i can say he was right about anything me and Bella liked our secrets." She knew even after being part of the family there were things only certain members knew and it wasn't fair to the rest of them. "But we're a family and we should have been sharing it with each other."

"I guess," Hayley knew she was right if they were a family they had to act like it. 

"Like you said we're a family but we're still trying to figure this all out." Elena knew it would probably take them another century but they were doing it.

"It seems to be going well."

"Yeah."

Bella stormed into the room she had just taken a pregnancy test that shouldn't have come back positive. She glared at her little sister now upset with her. "You did it?"

"What are you talking about?" Elena asked. She knew that she had technically done a lot of stuff so she was going to need her to be more specific.

"What's wrong?" Hayley asked confused. She didn't get why Bella looked so upset. 

"When did you give it to me El?" Bella asked. She knew her sister slipped it to her but wasn't sure when exactly. 

"I don't know what you are talking about?" Elena lied. She loved the fact that her sister was so upset. 

Bella groaned not liking that her sister was being difficult about this. "It's your spell you found the spell you slipped me whatever you took." 

"It worked." Elena smiled clapping her hands she was proud of herself.

"I'm going to kill you." Bella threatened. She couldn't believe her sister would do this without consulting her.

"I never saw you take it to know if it would work or not." She had slipped it but never knew if her sister had actually take it in the first place.

"Why?" Bella asked confused, 

"I wanted you to be happy," Elena admitted. And she remembered a talk they had 98 years ago about her sister contemplating taking it.

"When?" Bella asked.

"Like right after i got the spell gave some to Rebekah and you."

"I-"

"Breathe Bella." Elena got up going over to her sister. "It's fine it'll be right."

"It's going to be ok."
