"Hey come in."

"I bought snacks and some more movie options just in case."

"Ok great." Miranda smiled, taking the bags out of his hand.

"What's all this?" Ben questioned looking at the spread.

"I cooked." Miranda laughed.

"You can cook?"

"Yes." She huffed. "A little bit."

"This is way more than a little bit. This looks like a Thanksgiving spread."

"Well I wanted a Sunday dinner and I didn't know what you liked so I made a lot of different options." She lied. She knew exactly what he liked and made all of it. "You're welcome to take some home. It can be lunch or something."

"Deal, thanks."

"Make yourself comfortable. You already know where everything is. I sat out plates and untinsels. What do you want to drink I got your favorite beer, wine, bourbon, tea, lemonade, and water."

"Tea for now. I'll get up and get something else later." He responded as he walked to wash his hands.

Ben made himself a plate before sitting down on the couch. Miranda said grace and the two talked endlessly. It amazed him that they never ran out of things to say.

"Damn, this is good." Ben groaned, putting more yams and mac and cheese on his plate.

"Thank you. I'm glad you like it."

"I love it. Adding this to your list."

"What list?"

"Amazing things you do."

Miranda laughed loudly if he was her husband he would have some other things on that list.

After eating dinner Miranda took their plates and put them in the dishwasher. While Ben helped her put the food up. When they finished they walked back into the living room and took a seat. Ben sat up some and grabbed the snacks while Miranda grabbed a throw blanket and snuggled into what would have been her normal spot on Ben's side. He looked down at their closeness and smiled to himself.

"What are we watching?" Be asked, going to the movie list.

"Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes. Then your pick."

"My pick is No Good Deed."

"Ooh, Idris Elba. No, let's watch that first." She exclaimed and Ben cut it on.

"Idris Elba, that's who does it for you?" He asked wrinkling his nose.

"It's Idris Elba."

"What the accent?"

"That, among other things."

"I don't need to know the other things."

"I wasn't going to tell you anyway," Miranda replied pushing her face further into his chest.

Ben woke up and tried to move, but couldn't. He looked down at Miranda's head on his chest and lying on his body. She was sleeping peacefully and he really didn't want to move, but it had to be 2 or 3 in the morning. His wife was going to kill him. He slid her body off of him softly and put his shoes on. Grabbing his phone he looked at all the missed calls and text messages, this was not good at all.

Miranda mumbled softly in her sleep, turning her body to adjust to him moving her. Ben looked at this and sighed. He lifted her into his arms bridal style and carried her to her room. Laying her down on the bed, he lifted the covers and helped her inside.
