A/N: so how is everyone doing???? So as you've seen by the title I'm doing a fanfiction for Cole Walter!!!! I'm a newbie to the show and I hope to buy the book soon. Can someone tell me why and how on gods green earth it's come to this?!!! I personally don't know my self, I could read fanfic too for Cole all day anyway lmao...... I've got issues I know, I'm also doing another appendix one but because I've found my writing style it'll be better and I do some research of the actual illness before I plot everything out. You'll know as soon as I do when it'll be posted but eh it's what ever, school has been pretty busy and I'm not ready for next weekend cause I have a 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm and then lunch with my sister the next day so please pray for me!!!! I do apologize if anyone is out of character at all Anyways don't forget to comment, vote and all that good stuff and I'll see you at the end of this chapter

Cole Walter is known for faking illness to get out of important things like school, tests, and chores. But when he actually gets sick no one believes him, Now that might be his own fault. when he woke up in the middle of the night he noticed his stomach was hurting a bit in the middle and then moving towards the right side. Picking his phone up and checking the time he saw it was 4:30 in the morning, he contemplated on waking his mom up. Knowing that she'd had a long day and helping Jackie with settling in has been Rough, so he just rolled over wincing as a stabbing pain shot up his body.

Reawakening when you feel like utter horse shit is always a struggle " Cole come on get up!!! You gotta take everyone else to school and you haven't even had breakfast yet!" His mom, Kathrine,  yelled banging on his door which made his headache worse, moving made it worse as well. When he didn't answer she opened the door seeing Cole still laying there, " c'mon Cole we don't have time for this everyone is ready." " mom? I don't feel good, I woke up in the middle of the night with my stomach hurting really bad." He whimpered out knowing there would be a very slim chance his mom would believe him. " very funny Cole but you gotta get up , you have school and you don't wanna Make everyone else late because of a stomach ache do you?? Up and at em."

He really didn't wanna move his stomach was killing him and he pain had turned into a nauseating pain.... dashing to the bathroom no matter how much it hurt collapsed besides the toilet and threw up everything ( which wasn't much) " Cole, oh Cole baby what happened? I'm so sorry I didn't believe you when i woke you up." she did really sound apologetic, " hey Jackie can you come up here and help me?" Kathrine yelled covering Cole's ears.  " oh my god is he okay? and weren't we supposed to leave a little bit ago" Jackie asked concerned for Cole who was still cuddled in his mom's lap, " yes he was supposed to take y'all but I am now, so I'm going to put him back to bed and drop you guys off so please get everyone into the car and ill be right out sound like a plan?"

after she dropped everyone off she ran to the drug store to pick up some fever reducer and then went to the store and got some stuff to make some homemade soup that Cole liked so much, after she got home and started doing some work in the kitchen just incase the second oldest needed her. a few hours passed and Kathrine went upstairs to her sons room with the fever reducer , thermometer, and a glass of water hoping he could hold it down after the events of the morning, " Cole, honey? can you wake up for me so I can take your temp and give you some medican to help?" he grunted in response and slowly rolled over like it hurt him finally acknowledging her presence in the room, after medican was given and tempture was taken she headed back down stairs to start fixing dinner which would take a bit and she needed to pick everyone up from school. once everyone was seated and food was passed out the mood was somber with out the noise of Cole butting heads with is brothers or talking about how he might help coach some kids in football,  " so as you know Cole is sick, we don't know how sick yet me and your father and I are going to take him tomorrow. but for now just keep the noise down Alright?" she lectured while setting a bowl aside for Cole if he woke up hungry which wasn't likely since he wasn't earlier.

after one last temp check and medican round they all went to bed , what seemed like Kathrine had just closed her eyes when she heard a shriek of pain followed by what seemed to be crying. " mom! mommy." she heard Cole call out she hadn't heard him call her mommy in years, " Gorge somethings wrong with Cole wake up!" She snapped both parents getting up and racing up the stairs to their second oldest sons room slamming the door open seeing him curled up into a hall with his arms around his waist crying and gasping as he tried to get a good breath while the pain kept coming. " Cole what's wrong honey?? What's happening to him Gorge? He's burning up!" Kathrine asked panicking and the other boys coming in to check in on their brother,  " it hurts mommy it really hurts." Cole cried " get him into the car we gotta get him to the hospital like right now he might have appendicitis." Gorge called out picking their son up in his blankets and raced them to the hospital, one diagnosis and surgery later the doctor came out " your son came in with a severe case of appendicitis and if you came in any later it would have been worse than it was" he explained and that Cole was okay it would take some time for him to fully recover from the surgery but at least he wasn't crying in pain anymore, everyone ( including Jackie) walked into the boys hospital room. Seeing him in the bed was a huge shock but knowing he wasn't in pain anymore was better, " how you doing bud??" Gorge asked rubbing the hair back from his sons for head " I'm feeling better kinda sore but not in a lot of pain, Just ready to get out of here." Cole admitted, After a few days cole was cleared to come home but to still take it easy.
