tick - tack - tick - tack -
What are we waiting for?
A better moment? A better day? Better month? A better time?
Why does it have to be better than it is now?
And how is waiting supposed to make the whole thing better?
- tick - tack - tick -
We rush stressfully from one place to another.
Time is running out. The clock keeps ticking.

Like in time-lapse, our lives are distorted.
Incidentally. It's like we're just a figure and someone else is pulling the strings for us.
We live passively into the day. Let us be guided by the current of the earth.
Faster. Further. More efficient. More effective.
These are the day-to-day tasks that we have to tackle.
But it doesn't matter how fast you are.
It doesn't matter how far you get.
No matter how effectively you work.
And no matter how efficient.
It doesn't matter because it'll never be enough.
Our clock is ticking. Time is running out.
And if you don't take it. Selfish and rude, then you'll never have them either.
The better moment, the better day, the better month and the better time. They're not coming.
Stop waiting.
Your time is now. Right now.
And if you think it's already too late, you're wrong.
What's too late? Too late for what?
If you want to eat your breakfast for dinner, why don't you do it? Why do you think it's too late?
Who knows if you'll have another opportunity like this?
Because I can tell you one thing,
Stop waiting.
It doesn't get any better,
it's your duty
to take your time.
So be young and stupid.
Time is running out too fast.
Just a blink of an eye,
And then it's over. The day.
And your life.
There won't be another one.
So dance through the night.
Run around the world.
There's nothing to keep you here anymore.
Do somersaults in the garden,
there's too little time to wait for something.
Love, laugh, cry.
And then again from the beginning.
Because life is short,
just get up again
after every fall.
It's very easy,
Don't let me tell you otherwise.
You're not here,
to torment yourself.
Because the life you want to lead,
that you can choose yourself.
YOLO, as they say these days.
And they're right.
You Only Live Once.
This is your chance.
So,
Get out of here. Breathe. Scream. Write a song. Jump and dance. Give compliments. Buy yourself the second ice cream. And the third, if you still can. Tell your friends you love them. And say it to yourself twice. Say thank you to your parents. They have a lot less time than you do. Go swimming even though it's raining. Take lots of pictures. Turn the music up as loud as you can. Take drugs. Let yourself be enchanted. Kiss the same sex. Just for feeling. Be thrilled. Be spontaneous. Watch your favorite movie for two days in a row. Dye your hair. Tattoo yourself. Wear whatever you feel like wearing.
Be crazy. Be adorable. Be friendly, courteous and helpful. Be brave.
Do all this and much more.
Be you.
