Alethea Montgomery POV

There's sounds of beeping everywhere, voices heard from a far. I see the beginning of my life, all the way until my eyes went black.

My mother, my father, and my grandmother.

I feel the blood oozing out of my body like a movie, but I cannot move. I am stuck inside my own body and no one can hear me.

I'm in physical pain but I cannot do anything.

"She's going into cardiac arrest!" A fading voice echos.

There is a brief pause before there is a profound noise coming from one of the machines. It stays at one continuous pace, going flat.

"No pulse!"
