Delaney Grace Argent is the daughter of Kate Argent and an unknown hunter she met.
Kate was a good mother, until she became obsessed with hunting.
Laney was introduced to the supernatural when she was 12 and started training to hunt the supernatural soon after.
By the time she comes to Beacon Hills with her mother, she is considered a skilled hunter, by both her mother and grandfather, Gerard.
Laney is rather impulsive and hot-headed, but around those she cares for, she is sweet and caring.
