Luca is very protective of those he cares about and also very kind.

When Leo Rhodes was just a baby, he was adopted into a loving family, the Rhodes [only mentioned in book].
When he was still young, he discovered he was able to shift into a werewolf, luckily, the family who adopted him were werewolves themselves and taught the young man.
Leo is a loner and typically stays away from people in social situations. But once you get to know him, he is cracking jokes and actually very caring.
