I got home my dad Had been Sitting in the living room using it as his office while his actual office is getting renovated.
He has been so busy he forgot to worry about me. That's good now he doesn't have to know.
"Where have you been?" He asked didn't seem like he cared that much.
"My friends house we did homework." I lied
"K." He said he grabbed his stuff and went up to his bedroom.
I was about follow up to my own room but heard a nock at the door. I went to open it and when I did, I saw Korra with Tears In her eyes.
She quickly leaned in kissing me I brung her inside not breaking the kiss until she got fully inside I pulled apart.
"Korra What happened?" I said My Brows furrow with worry.
"Can I like stay here for a while..." She said Sniffling a little Wiping her face quickly with her sleep trying to pretend like she isn't crying.
"Ofc ofc, Here let me Make something to eat." I told her hoping to make her feel a little better.
"I'm not hungry right now." She said, Korra, not hungry? Something really bad happened.
"Tea?" I asked. "No," she replied "I looked into her eyes And I knew that Look where she just wanted to be held, No questions No statements no words just to be held in silence.
I walked up to her and I hugged her not letting go until I felt her hug me back.She did and I can feel her face bury into my chest.
We hugged for a while until she Pulled away and look at me. "You have Snot on your Shirt..Sorry" She said.
"It's ok, Do you wanna tell me what happened?" I asked She looked at me.
"I got home to my mom and dad waiting in the couch for me and They asked why I came home so late and to not lie.. I told them about detention and they asked why I got it and.." She couldn't Finish the sentence but I knew what happened.
"I'm so sorry Korra.." I said Feeling as though it was my fault considering I bring her to the stairwell in the first place.
"It's not your Fault, I would think my dad would side with me But He sided with my mom.." she said.
"Shit..well you can stay here as long as you want Even if it's for the rest of the year" I told her meaning every word.
"Thank you Asami.." She said. "Don't think me please" I replied. "I love you Korra" I told her As I cupped her face. "I love you too."she replied Kissing me.
"Asami?" she Asked "Yes?" I said "I'm ready."she said "For?" I was a bit confused. "Yk.." she said "Oh right, That's great Korra I'm am Glad you are ready I would be Just ok if you weren't But I'm happy for you to be taking a new step, But We can't not right now," I told her
"I mean Not in the living room ofc.." she said "No not Today you need to sleep Ok? And I can't do that with you knowing what just happened." I told her
"Ok.."she said. "Cmon let's go to bed" I told her hold my hand out for her to take.
She grabbed and As we went upstairs and got ready for bed, We both laid down.
I hugged her from the back and rested my hand on her stomach. I kissed her Neck as I drifted to sleep.
