My eyes widened as he pulled me closer to him still kissing me, I didn't want to push him off and I felt like this wasn't the first time he kissed me. I closed my eyes as he stopped kissing me.
"Do you remember now?" he asked me, I looked at him.
"You changed my memories... why? how?" I asked him as tears flowed down my face, I couldn't believe what I had seen.
"You do remember now." he said with a smile. The memories I had of him were of him always being mean to me, breaking my toys, pushing me down, and just being awful just disappearing and my real memories came back. He walked away from me and I grabbed his sleeve.
"Why would you do that?" I asked him, he turned and looked at me.
"Why would you change my memories of our childhood together? You didn't bully me... you took care of me, you were always there with me... you didn't leave when I was nine, you left a year before I met Levi so WHY?!" I yelled at him with tears flowing down my face, those memories of me being all alone for years and having a bully for a childhood friend were all false.
He stood there looking down at me with such a sad expression on his face, he wouldn't say anything he just stared at me.
"Say something... Sato." I said as he hugged me, his arms wrapped around my waist getting tighter and tighter I could feel his emotions through the hug.
"Sato?" I said.
"I didn't want to... I had to. I can't tell you any more than that I'm sorry." he said as he let me go.
"Why? Why can't you tell me?" I asked him, and he smiled.
"You wanna go to your ball with puffy crying eyes?" he said as he pinched my cheek.
"Ouch! I can clean up in a snap." I said as I fixed my puffy eyes, he laughed.
"Nothing is funny!" I yelled.
"I think you find me very funny." he said with a smirk, my heart skipped a beat. All these emotions coming back for Satoru and my feelings for Levi are fighting each other in my heart now.
"I don't wanna dance with you." I said as I walked back into the room.
"Hey! You can't just ditch me now! Ari!" he said as he followed after me.
I headed for Akuma's chambers and Satoru followed, he seemed like nothing had changed like we didn't just kiss. I entered Akuma's office and he was speaking with the Ball planner, they bowed.
"Everything should be ready within an hour now instead of five." Akuma said, I smiled.
"You are the best! and thank you for planning a last-minute ball." I said.
"Anything for you, Your Majesty." he said as he bowed and left, Akuma glared at Satoru.
"Why is he here?" he asked me.
"I'm her date." he said with a grin, I sighed.
"Do you think that's best?" he asked me.
"I'm fine with it." I said, Akuma sighed.
"You are married to Prince Levi and arriving at a Ball with another man, I don't think that is fine... Your Majesty." He said.
"You see how you said "Your Majesty" at the end of that sentence." I said, he nodded.
"Exactly." I said with a smile and sat down, Akuma sighed and sat at his desk.
I wanted to speak to these two alone about what was going on with Rin, I cast a barrier and Akuma's mood changed.
"What's going on?" he asked me.
"Rin is a spy." I said, he sighed.
"How did this happen?" he asked.
"She felt abandoned by me and was easy prey for Victoria." I said.
"She has a weak stomach to blood and is always making mistakes... She could not be by your side with how she is." Satoru said.
"Violet is handling it, I will be speaking with her after The Ball." I said.
"Has she been to one of the meetings?" Akuma asked.
"I can't even remember if she has." I said, Satoru shrugged.
"Violet would know." I said.
"Are we changing our plans now?" Akuma asked me, and I nodded.
"I already summoned everyone for the ball and to stay here for tomorrow's meeting." I said.
"She has to have more spies in the mansion and castle." Akuma said. I had thought the same thing but Violet already confirmed she was the only one, I thought about how they got to her and remembered how when Violet was dead and we had to find her soul, that whole time I didn't call for Rin not once... I called on Violet more because she has always been there since I was a baby and Rin would accompany Violet.
"I will not let any of this stop my last day of fun forever." I said as I got up.
"Let's go, Sato, I wanna see the Ball Room." I said.
"Right behind ya!" he said as he put his arms around my shoulders.
