After two days of traveling on the sea, I was notified of the first sight of land. I got up and rushed to the deck and looked out. It was massive, even bigger than Eldiana. I could feel great power coming from this island. I turned around and saw Satoru and Ace walking towards me, butting heads.
"How annoying are you going to be?!" Satoru said.
"As annoying as I can be!" Ace said, their auras clashing and making the boat sway. Nanami walked up next to me.
"They have been at it all morning." he said. I sighed and flicked my finger twice, hitting them both in the forehead.
"OUCH!" they both yelled as they fell to the ground.
"What the hell was that?!" Ace said as he rubbed his head.
"Aria..." Satoru said.
"Why are you two arguing?" I asked them with a glare, and they cringed.
"Nothing." Satoru and Ace said simultaneously. I took a deep breath and walked away.
"Where are you going?" Satoru asked me. I turned and looked at him.
"Away from you, morons." I said as I huffed and walked away with Nanami.

I changed my clothes to look more like an adventurer than wear my fancy clothes, and I didn't want anyone to think I was noble. Violet did not like that she wasn't in her maid outfit and struggled to get used to her new outfit.
"My lady... do I have to wear this?" she asked as she pulled on the collar.
"Yes, and call me Miss. Aria instead of Lady, I don't want anyone off this ship to know I'm royal or a god." I said, and she nodded and pulled at her pants.
"You look very much like a commoner, Miss Aria." she said, I smiled.
"Good, that's the point." I said as we headed up on deck. We had finally docked at the port of this island, and it was bustling with people and excitement. Everyone looked different from the people of Eldiana. I couldn't contain my excitement, so I slipped off the ship's side and landed on the dock.
"Aria!" Satoru yelled as he jumped off the ship and landed next to me.
"I'm fine." I said as he helped me up.
"Why didn't you use your powers?" he asked me.
"I wouldn't do that here." Ace said we look at him as he comes off the ship.
"Why say that?" I asked him.
"Have you noticed no one is using magic here? There is a great power that surrounds this place." he said.
"Yeah, I noticed way before we docked." I said. I walked up to a vendor with fruits.
"Excuse me, where are we?" I asked him.
"This here is Merica Lass," he said, Violet stepped forward but I put my arm out.
"Thank you." I said. I walked back over to the boys.
"Merica is what this place is called." I said.
"Merica, huh." Nanami said. I could tell he heard of this place before.
"Ace, have you been here?" I asked him, and he shook his head.
"This place is new to me." he said.

We headed straight into town, a few miles from the port, to look for some information building or just anyone who looked like they knew the history of this place.
"Seems like transportation is horses only." Nanami said.
"Same as Eldiana." I said.
"This forest, it feels.... alive." Ace said.
"Something is very weird about this place. Did you notice how the port didn't have a single commoner buying anything or even selling stuff?" Satoru said I did notice it was packed with well-off people.
"I noticed the guards, too." Nanami said.
"They were focused on us the whole time but didn't follow us." Ace said. I suddenly felt a presence coming straight for us from the forest. It felt like someone was running away from something. I smelt blood in the air.
"Something is coming." I said. They all jumped in front of me as a little girl came running out of the bushes and fell in front of us.

I pushed past them and went to the girl, she was hurt badly on her back like she was whipped with something.
"Are you okay?" I asked her, and she looked up at me. My eyes widened. I picked her up, walked to Satoru, and handed her to him.
"Aria?" he said. I turned around, and two men came running out of the woods, one with a sword and another with a whip.
"Hey! Hand her over! She's an escaped slave and must be punished." the man with the sword said. The little girl tightened her grip around Satoru, and I felt his anger grow.
"Why is a little girl a slave?" I asked.
"You all must be new travelers and didn't check in at the gate, our king had deemed all commoners slaves including children, nothing happens here without The King's approval including new travelers." He said.
"So, what are you then?" I asked.
"I am a soldier. We are not scum like her. We live great and work how we please." he said.
"And this king... Who is he?" I asked.
"He is the greatest man of this country. He knows commoners are beneath the rest of us who work hard." he said.
