Nasiah sighed as she sat back in her chair, feeling relief after she had gotten this sketch down.

She had been working on it this all week. Which was saying something because this isn't even her new main project.

Nasiah had been working now maybe on the main project, but this project was just something she needed to do.

This one was Ma'Kai. Not that the other ones weren't Ma'Kai, but this was an actual drawing of her. The other one, the other oil painting she had done was based off of their night together, on that one new years day.

Maybe she had a problem, Nasiah thought to herself. It does seem a little obsessive that her recent works revolved around Ma'Kai but she couldn't help it. She always thought about it.

Plus, not all of her works were like that. Most of them weren't about her. She thinks...

Anyway, that's not the point. Art was her outlet. Whatever she needed to get off of her mind she drew. And that just happened to be Ma'Kai.

Nasiah had just started today. It had been nagging her all week though. She had always done small sketches of Ma'Kai, sure. But she wanted to do a bigger one.

She didn't plan on publishing this one, not if Ma'Kai didn't want her too. It seemed too intimate.

Nasiah had been working for almost 2 hours just to get a basic sketch. She just wanted it to be perfect. It was only an 9 by 12 but it took her forever because of its larger scale. She had drawn a outline in her notebook throughout this week. She had no idea why it took her so long.

Now that she was done with that she needed a break. And some tea would be nice.

Nasiah wanted to go get a snack before she got back to work, so she went in her little office and got something.

As soon as she started to get back to work and picked up her pencil, she heard her ring tone for Ma'Kai.

She tried not to smile so wide, she would get ahead of herself if she questioned why she was calling her. They were friends. People call their friends all the time.
