Cameron held the necklace in his hands, admiring the look of it. He couldn't help but imagine over and over again on how beautiful it would look on around Ayla's neck. It was a crystal necklace with Ayla's name engraved in it. The necklace that he bought with his hard earn money from doing side quests. It wasn't much but it sure did mean a lot to him. It is Ayla's 20th birthday tonight and Shawn is throwing a party alongside Hunter and Stephanie. Cameron wanted to take this opportunity to confess his feelings to Ayla.

He's waited long enough to do this after years and years of recounting on his feelings, wanted to make sure that whatever he feels for Ayla is just more than friendship. He closed the box of the necklace, placing the box next to the bouquet of roses. He wore his best suit, groomed himself in the best way possible, trying to look presentable. He smiled upon looking at his appearance, satisfied with his look.

His eyes trailed to the picture pasted on the mirror, a picture of him and Ayla back when they were teenagers. The smile on Ayla's face has never failed to put one on his. His eyes trailed to the other picture pasted, where Ayla, Gage, Cassidy and Cameron were in the picture. How good were those times when they were all good friends. Especially Gage. They were practically inseparable at one point. It was sad how things turned out to be.

He will never forget the way Cassidy was crying for months of how much pain Gage put her through. He didn't know how Gage had the heart do what he did to her. Gage practically used Cassidy to get to Ayla. And now even though Gage knows about Cameron's feelings for Ayla, he still wants to stand against him?

"Cammy?" Cheyenne knocked on the door, peaking a little.

Cameron shrug off his thought and turned around to meet his beautiful little sister who was turning 13 this year. She has beautiful brown hair, just like their mother and big hazel eyes, like their father.

"Hey kiddo" Cameron said, a small smile formed upon looking at her. "Come on in"

"Is this okay?" Cheyenne asked, holding her dress.

"You look beautiful, Chey" Cameron said, holding her hand. Cheyenne has really developed a good sense of fashion. She looks good on whatever she wears. She just knows how to style her clothes well.

Cheyenne smiled. Her eyes fell on the bouquet and the jewelry box. She slowly walked towards the desk, running her hand over the box and the flowers.

"You gonna tell her tonight?" Cheyenne asked, holding the box in her hand.

Cameron felt a slight tink of pink crept up his cheek at the thought. The only person in this entire world that knows his feelings for Ayla apart from Gage, is his little sister Cheyenne.

Cheyenne could sniff it from a mile away about his feelings for Ayla. It was really obvious that Cameron has feelings for Ayla. It wasn't always that her big brother has behaved with other girls the way he behaves around Ayla. He was a totally different human being.

"I'm nervous, Chey" Cameron said.

"You don't have to be, you know" Kaia popped up, not even bothering to knock the door .

"Christ!" Cameron swore, jolted at her sudden appearance. He couldn't have anyone else know about this until he confesses to Ayla.

"I heard everything, Cam" Kaia had a sheepish smile on her face as she entered. "And I was the first person to know about your feelings for Ayla. I predicted this years ago, remember?"

"Okay, psychic. You win" Cameron rolled his eyes. Kaia was a really witty and talkative girl for an 7 year old.

Kaia smirked, satisfied with herself. "Cameron and Ayla sitting on a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G"
