As Penn left the bar and returned with the drinks, the mystery guy watched her and smiled. His heart felt warm, a feeling he hadn't experienced in a long time. He was happy about their interaction and impressed by how attentive she was to detail. Still sitting at the bar, the mystery man took out a pen from his pocket—he never left without one. He grabbed a tissue from the counter and wrote a note on it. He told the bartender to give Penn whatever she wanted if she came back to the bar, along with the note. Penn, forgetting why she went to the bar, hurried back to get a chair. As she passed by, she noticed an interesting note on the counter-a symbol of an infinity sign with a message. Curious, she wondered what it meant. Though she recognised the symbol, she felt there was more to it. The mysterious guy had left without saying who he was, and Penn didn't notice him go.

Penn wondered about what had just happened and shook her head to clear her thoughts.She picked up the note and quietly read it, thinking deeply about its meaning. "Every chain needs a link to build a connection," she repeated to herself, feeling the words hold a deeper truth. The infinity sign on the note suddenly seemed more important, leaving Penn to ponder the mystery left behind by the mysterious guy's departure

She wondered if she should stay in her complicated relationship with Larry or if she should try something new and start fresh.

While everything was happening with Penn and the mystery guy, Tay and Tamera, two observant friends, chatted about him. They talked about how good-looking he was and how mysterious he seemed. They laughed as they discussed the strange charm he had .As Penn talked about the mysterious guy she met at the bar, the atmosphere at the table got more and more tense. Larry looked unhappy, with his brows furrowed and his jaw clenched. Penn felt uncomfortable as she noticed Larry's disapproval growing. It made her uneasy, so she excused herself and went to the ladies' room with a forced smile.

When Penn mentioned another man, Larry looked like he wanted to get up, maybe to go after her. But Jessica, realising it could make things worse, put her hand on his leg, silently telling him to stay. Penn reminded herself that she hadn't done anything wrong or broken their trust and relationship. He did, so there is no way he has the power to make her feel this way unease. Beside he is with Jessica. Penn murmured to herself.

As Penn headed to the bar for another round of drinks, intending to escape the tension, she found herself pleasantly surprised. When attempting to settle her bill, the bartender informed her that it had already been taken care of. Penn, in shock, insisted on paying, but the bartender assured her that someone had generously covered her tab and she can order anything that she like. Wondering who could be so considerate, Penn accepted the drinks and returned to the table, the mystery guy still lingering on her mind.
